I walked into school on a cloud with sunlight hitting me on all angles. I didn't care about all the loud noise or the rush hour hallway. What I did care about was when it went quiet I snapped out of it. I feel bad for her, I wonder how she's holding up, and silent thoughts followed me through the hallway. What was going on? Then the first bell rang as a warning and everyone shuffled away.
One girl came up to me and gave me a hug with genuine sadness on her face. "You ok?" She asked. "Yeah why?" I questioned. "Wow your strong if you didn't let him cheating break you," she whispered. "What Who!?" I yelled.
She took a step back and her eyes widened. "You're soo skipping school today," she sighed. Before I could even protest she dragged me out of school. Not that I wanted to be there, but like what the heck. " Oh sorry I didn't introduce myself my name is Kate-Lynn, but call me Kate," she explained. Maybe she could tell me why everybody looked at me like they felt bad or just curious. By the end of it I was a sniffling mess.
Ok I have an analogy Life is a waterfall it seems all nice and pretty, but at some point you fall over the edge and the waterfall tries to drown you and just before your body gives out it spits you on shore and keeps pulling you back in seeing if you will keep trying to make it back to shore making you stronger.
Right now I just tipped over the edge and was being shoved under. I cried and sniffled into Kate's shoulder and she hardly knew me, but was being a best friend. "Are you my friend?" I cried out. "Why wouldn't I be?" She smiled. "Well," I sniffled "I am ruining your shirt and balling my eyes out, and you barely know me." Kate laughed "Silly that just means a never ending friendship!"
