Chapter 7: I Just Need Help

Oops I'm writing on my phone (I made the italics quick last night) but no song of the chapter this chapter. But it's pretty long I think! xx Amanda (7/24/14)

~~Eden's POV~~

Brooke and I talked for a little while. She basically said that if he asks me out, accept the offer, because one, he's cute and we looked adorable cuddling, and two, I'm pretty sure I like him. It was currently midnight and I was freezing, even though it was summer. I decided to call up Zach and ask if he wanted to come over.

(E=Eden Z= Zach)

E: Hey Zach, do you want to come over?

Z: Sorry Eden, I have to record. You can come over here if you want. Jordan should be downstairs to open the door.

E: Alright, I'll be over in 2 minutes.

Z: Byeeeee

E: Byeeeee

I didn't even care what Zach saw me in. I had a crop top on with my sweatpants. I left my house and ran over to his house. Once I got to the door I knocked. Jordan answered a few seconds later.

"Hey Eden, Zach's upstairs, first door on your right." Jordan said and smiled.

"Ok, thank you!" I gave him a quick hug and went up the stairs. When I got up there I knocked. I heard him faintly say he was going to get the door and opened it.

"Hey Eden! Come in!" he said and let me in. I walked in and sat on the bed.

"It's freezing in here Zach!" I exclaimed and grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around myself.

"Sorry, I have to keep my computer cool. If you didn't know, I play video games on YouTube." He said kind of nervously.

"I did and ok. I'll just hide under the covers." I said and buried myself on his warm blankets. They smelled like him. I heard someone from his computer talk.

"Who's your lady friend Graser??" I heard them say. He unmuted his mic.

"She's my neighbor Parker. Eden, say hi to Parker!" He said.

~~Zach's POV~~

It pained me to say she was just my neighbor and not my girlfriend.

"Hi!" Eden said. "I really like your videos. You're hilarious!" Eden said. I felt jealously boil up on me. Wait, why was I jealous?!

"Aw thank you Eden. I like your voice. It's cute." Parker said and laughed.

"Ok! Well Parker we should get back to recording the survival games. Eden you can lay down if you'd like." I said and put my headset on. She nodded and out of the corner of my eye I saw her wrap herself in my blanket and close her eyes, assumingly going to sleep.

~~Eden's POV~~

I closed my eyes and listened to Zach recording. I tried not to laugh every time he died. Then while they were waiting for a new survival games to pop up I heard them talking.

"So... do you like Eden?" Parker asked.

"A bit. I just don't know how to tell her." Zach replied and sighed. My phone started buzzing suddenly. Perfect timing. Zach turned to me as soon as I sat up. I smiled and looked at the caller ID. It was my friend Mackenzie. Why was she calling me? We haven't talked in ages. I answered.

"Why the hell didn't you tell me you had hot new neighbors? I called dibs!" She yelled into my ear. I mouthed to Zach that I would be back in a minute. He nodded and continued talking to Parker.

"Mack," I said using her nickname,"one of them likes me and one likes my cousin. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to happen. But guess what? They're youtubers!! They can help me achieve my dream! Isn't that great? I've always wanted to be a youtuber." I said excitedly. No, I'm not using them for fame. I just have had trouble trying to make my channel grow and this would be an amazing opportunity for my dream to come true. I walked into the empty room across the hall.

"Eden, you're just using them for fame and money. You're dumb dream will never come true. You're such a terrible person. I'd love them and cherish them." Mack said. You see, Mack was the biggest slut in school. She has screwed just about all the guys in our grade and some in the lower grades.

"Mackenzie, all you want are friends with benefits. You'd use them and throw them away like trash." I said. I wasn't afraid to say that. I had lost my reputation of being a good girl when I started hanging around with her. People hated me.

"Eden, honestly, just kill yourself." She said. Well that escalated quickly.

"Fine, maybe I will." I said. I hung up and started crying silently. I sat down on the bed and put my head in my hands. Someone knocked on the door and opened it. I looked up. It was Jordan. He came up to me and hugged me.

~~Jordan's POV~~

I heard Eden talking to someone.

"Fine. Maybe I will." I heard her say. Then I heard quiet sobs coming from the room she was in. I knocked and walked in. She was sitting on the spare bed and was crying. I hugged her and that's when she let loose. She was pretty violently crying into my chest. I rubbed her back and soothed her. A few minutes later she looked up at me and stopped.

"Why do you care? I'm a lost cause. I'm a terrible person for wanting my dream to come true. I just need help." She said and stood up.

"You're beautiful Eden. You're an amazing person. Never listen to anyone who talks down to you." I said. She just looked at me for a second and hugged me again.
