Ellie's POV

I woke up and I was instantly happy. A text from Luna stood out in my notifications. You won't understand the feeling until you find someone that you have such a tight bond with. I immediately clicked the message.

"Good morning! Just a reminder that I love you trillions. Have a great day💘"

I smiled and quickly responded with a little paragraph to make her happy. We chatted about what we were up to today. She said she was just chilling and maybe going swimming. I told her that all I was going to do is head into town to pick up lunch.

I quickly shoved on a pair of plain black leggings. I rifled through my draws for what seemed like hours to try and find a shirt. Finally, a picked out an Adidas T-shirt. I threw it on, ran a hairbrush through my hair and stared at my reflection in the mirror. Somewhat happy with my appearance, I bolted out the door, starving hungry. I made my way down the street. My Adidas Superstars were tapping the stone pavement to the beat of the music blasting in my earbuds.

I looked up from my phone as I heard a familiar voice, my heart skipped a beat. Was it..? It couldn't be... Thoughts raced through my head. My eyes widened as the young man looked up. It was Jack bloody Maynard. Tears filled my eyes.

"J..Jack" I whispered. He didn't hear. I saw his bright blue eyes drift from his phone screen. I was shaking so much. My eyes were misty with tears. He smiled at me and stared.

"H..hi." Jack murmured to me, as he stared into my hazel green.

What. No. How? Jack Maynard just said hi to me. Before I said hi to him. WHAT IS LIFE?! My dream husband, my idol, my life saver, a god.

I stared at him. His ocean blue eyes stood out as he looked at me from head to toe.
"W...what?" I whispered, "I mean, no! Hi.." I stuttered. He laughed anxiously and took a few steps toward me.

"I'm Jack" he smiled
"I know" I chuckled to myself
"You a fan?" He laughs

I nod nervously and he hugs me. This was so surreal... Me and Jack chatted for what seemed like hours. It was honestly a dream come true. Never did I think I would meet my idol. But I never even imagined that he would say hello to me first.

"I'm just going to go for a bite at Wagamama's, wanna, um, maybe join me?" Jack asked, I could tell he was extremely nervous.
"Are you serious?" I said, my eyes filling with crystal clear tears.
"Of course" he blushes

I squealed and he chuckled at me. It was official. I was going for lunch with Jack Maynard.
