Family you didn't have but there was a girl that was placed in the same place as you, she did have family but she wasn't accepted. It was quite upsetting but she had you too. Speaking of the devil, there she comes.
She sure seemed happy, she just always seemed so upset that it surprised you to see her that happy. You were just seating outside the classroom, waiting for her. "You can't belive what I am about to tell you!" she said with a huge grin on her face.
"What happened? Spill it out." you asked smiling, it was so good to see that she was happy.
"I found this guy. I have been seeing him for quite a while, he's so hot!" she grabbed both of your hands and jumped. "He's asked me out and I agreed!"
"Don't you think that is a bit too soon?" she was happy but you didn't want her to be heartbroken.
She stopped and stared a you. "No, I think this is the right guy."
Sighing, you left her be. She was for once happy and you couldn't ruin it for her.
A months passed and now, you couldn't help but feel bad for your friend. The man she went out with wanted nothing else but sex, and once he had it, he left your friend. She was left and with a baby, which she decided to have. Now, her grandfather died. Although he didn't have a close relationship with him, he loved her, she loved him too.
"Shhhhh." Hugging her tightly, you comforted her.
"But he died, I-" she sobbed." I am now all alone."
How terrible you felt for her, at least you had no family, you were used to the feeling that you had no-one but her? She did have a family, one that did not love her and the only person that loved her the most is dead."You're not alone, you have me and your son, don't you?"
She pulled away and cleaned the tears from her face and smiled. "Yeah."
"See? We have each-other." She nodded again and hugged you.
"Can I ask you something?" She asked.
"Sure."
"Um, if anything happens to me, will you take care of my baby as if he were of your own?" She asked and that worried you. "Don't worry, is not like I plan on dying soon."
Taking a deep breath, you shook your head."You had me worried there, and you know I would. You are like the sister I never had, you don't have to worry about that."
She smiled. "Promise?"
"Promise." And with that, she made you pinky promise and a hug followed that.
So a few days after the funeral, your friend was called by her grandfather's lawyer and she asked you if you could go with her. Not wanting her to feel lonely, you went with her, it wasn;t far from your school or home, whatever you want to call it.
She went in the lawyer's office and you waited outside. You were sure that she would be told about her father's will. She and another woman exited, once she was out, the other woman went back in and closed the door.
"Well?" you asked wanting to know why she held a smile on her face.
"He left me part of his mansion and forty percent of a corporation." With an open mouth, you were lost of words. You weren't really sure whether to be happy for her or not. Having money wasn't that bad but having a family that doesn't like you at all is a pain in the ass and now that they found out that she was the owner or 40 percent of the corporation is something else.
She stopped smiling, she then glanced at you."Do you think that you could come with me, I mean, I am about to turn 18 and you are an adult already so...do you think you could come with me. I need to go to the city and take ownership of what is rightfully mine but I want you to come with me, I don't want to go alone. Please?" she clasped her hands together begging you.
At the you decided to go so the next morning you went to your dorm and got ready. The woman in charged of the school came in saying that you were not allowed to leave. You of course laughed. "I'm 18, not a child." Was your response, she opened her mouth to say something but decided to leave.
Soon, you both headed for that journey which would only take a few hours by car. Your friend was driving, it was her car anyway. You on the other hand was just looking around and a few hours passed, the view was quite nice. There were trees everywhere and there weren't any houses around. "Hey, can you check and see if I have any miss calls?" she asked. "It's right there, on the back seats."
You un-buckled your seat-belt in order for you to grab the her purse. With a twist of your body, you were able to take a hold of it and you tried to open it but before you could, there was a truck coming on the same side of the road and it was coming towards you with speed.
"No!" your friend yelled and had no choice but to turn the steering wheel and the car went to the side of the road which happened to decorated with a few rocks. You weren't really sure what happened but next thing you knew, you were laying on the ground. Opening your eyes, you groaned in pain. There was something in your hand, which happened to be your friend's purse. Not too far away, there was the car, in flames. With blood on your face, you stood up. It hurt as hell, but you needed to help your friend, when you stepped forward, the car exploded. Not given a chance to even yell, you were pushed back and fell, this time you didn't get up.
