~Aria's POV~

I sighed heavily and looked out of the car window. We were moving…Again. The third time for the year actually and the summer has just begun. Just when I’ve fallen into a semi-normal routine, we have to pack up and move out. My dad works for a government agency and his job description requires frequent travelling or in my case, frequent moving. This time we’re moving closer to family though. My grandfather recently passed and left my father his house on the family estate in Texas. All of my dad’s siblings and now us will be living on my grandfather’s ranch. Before last week, I didn’t even know my dad had siblings. From what my mom said, Dad and his twin brother had a fight about 20 years ago and haven’t spoken since. Well, their reunion ought to be interesting.

“Ari, did you know that Anderson High is best known for their sports program? College scouts are there at every game,” Adrien began excitedly and I shook my head. Boys and Sports…A relationship I will never understand.

“That’s great Adre, lots of opportunities for you to get a scholarship; please pick a college that’s out of state so I don’t have to be in the same house as you again!” I replied with mock enthusiasm and we both burst out laughing. While Adrien and I have our differences, we’re still pretty close. I mean, he’s my twin; my other half. I really don’t know what I’d do without his crazy ass to keep me occupied.

“Admit it sis, your life would be boring without me,” he returned with a grin and I couldn’t help but smile back.

“And we all know what your grades would look like without me…” I replied and he pouted.

“My grades aren’t that bad,” he whined and our mom looked over her shoulder and shot him a look. I laughed while he continued to pout.

“You’re so mean to me. You’re my big sister aren’t you supposed to be all loving and shit?” he continued and mom snorted.

“If she was ‘all loving and shit’ you’d hate her for being so over bearing Adrien,” Mom retorted and he sighed.

“I’m always out-numbered ‘cause dad’s never here…I say it’s time for a little brother,” he remarked and mom laughed.

“If you’re going to carry him for nine months and then give birth I have no complaints,” she replied and Adrien’s head fell into my lap. She got him and he knew it. God, I love my mom. We got to the ranch at about 10 after driving all day.

“Alright, you guys have school in the morning so just find something to wear for tomorrow and you can unpack when you get home,” mom ordered and after sitting in a car for fourteen hours Adrien and I didn’t complain in the slightest. I headed up to the room that I’d been designated and cracked open my suit cases. With a sigh, I began sorting through the clothes, trying to decide on what to put out for tomorrow. I might as well just go simple. It’s not like I’m planning on impressing anyone. I grabbed my favourite pair of ripped skinnies, a black long sleeved tee and a cropped white tee with the word ‘LOVE’ in bold on the front.  I collapsed on my bed and was out like a light in seconds.
