[Log Start] These disciples can no longer be allowed to live, as they have continued to grow in strength, and if they continue to strive, these matters will soon be out of this military's hands, meaning my own as well. I must inform C-94-01 and the Kabe siblings that they will be leading a full assault team against the group of disciples. [End Log]
Arriving back at the house, Nemzio flopped onto the bed, exhausted.
"That was something, wasn't it?" Nemzio sighed. Mizuki sat on the bed beside him.
"Yeah, no kidding," She said, exhaling heavily as she rest her hands in her lap. Tenashi lay down on the mattress.
"Absolutely." She muttered. Nemzian looked completely unphased.
"I didn't get to do anything, but it was awesome seeing what you guys could do!" Nemzian exclaimed, taking a seat beside where Tenashi lay, ankles bouncing lightly off of the bedframe from his pent-up excitement.
For Nemzio, the whole world began to fade away as exhaustion took over, and soon, he was sound asleep.
"Nemzio." Came the False God's voice, snapping his mind into lucidity.,
"What is it?" Nemzio took a deep breath, staring at the False God with nothing but annoyance.
"I just wanted to tell you that you're coming along nicely." The being said, "You are most definitely one of the fastest learning disciples I've seen."
"Thanks... I guess." Nemzio started, taken aback by the compliment.
"But that's not enough." It continued, ignoring Nemzio, "There are disciples that will wish you dead, and they will be much, much more powerful than you are now."
"I know, but I have a team now." Nemzio stated bluntly, "And although I've only known them for a short time, I can trust them completely,"
"That is not good enough!" The being was suddenly enraged, "You must become stronger, strong enough to fight on your own!" Nemzio was confused, what had brought this on?
"What exactly has you on edge?"
"The one who killed my previous disciple is still alive." It said, the ever present smile on its face fading, "I will not suffer the humiliation of having my chosen killed yet again by the same person!"
"So this is about your ego." Stated Nemzio, blandly yet to himself.
"Maybe, but I also prefer to keep my disciples very much alive." It said, the smile returning to its face, "Especially one who I have such high hopes for."
With that, Nemzio was pulled back to consciousness.. It was late, the room was dark, and everyone else was asleep. Nemzio gazed down at Mizuki, passed out beside him, her mousy brown hair covering parts of her face. Nemzio felt something in his chest he had never felt before, like a burning flame, but it wasn't painful, it was calming, yet it kept him alert. Nemzio leaned gently off of the mattress, and walked outside, needing to clear his head.
Nemzio sat down just outside the house, the faint moonlight just barely illuminating the landscape. He sat there for hours, just turning the last few days over in his head. Now he was a disciple, he had met new people, and made an enemy out of the tower's military. How would he manage to defeat such a powerful enemy? Could he even protect his brother? His mind whirled with questions, with no real answer to them.
Eventually, the sun began to rise; its rays barely piercing the clouds. Nemzio stood up, deciding to wake the others. As he walked inside, he found that Mizuki was already awake, sitting up on the mattress with a sphere of water floating above her right hand.
