-JACOB-
"J!!" I heard my sisters voice call from down the hall. I turned around and waited for her.
Her long brown hair was pulled up into a high ponytail and she still had her practice uniform on.
"Hey Nix. What's up?" I asked once she caught up and we headed in the direction of my locker.
"Uh. Yeah. So I might have forgotten my money at home for the trip..." she muttered, looking at me with her hazel eyes, the ones that mirrored mine.
"Yes. You can have some money. How much?" I sigh, opening up my wallet. She smiles and begins jumping on her feet.
"Only twenty." She says as I hand it to her. She squeals before hugging me briefly and running off. I chuckle, rolling my eyes, before grabbing my history book and head to my first class.
"Jacob! Bro!" My best friend, Bryce, exclaims, slapping my back. With him is Zayn, our other friend.
Bryce is the loud, obnoxious, egotistical jerk, football player that sleeps with every girl in the school. But I've been friends with him for years, so I deal.
Zayn on the other hand, is a bit quieter and only really does serious relationships. He's on the soccer team and currently is single. We've known Zayn since sophomore year, and he's a year younger than us, but he's cool.
"So, yesterday I saw this hottie at the gym. Man! She had curves for days! I even got her number." Bryce wolf whistled as we walked through the busy hallway.
I stop listening to my friends vivid description when I spot her. She has her nose in a book, as always, and her long blonde hair is pulled into a French braid. She looks amazing in her causal outfit of a black sweater and some jeans.
As if she can feel me staring, she looks up from the book and looks around. Luckily, she can't spot me through the crowds of students. She shrugs and pushes her glasses further up her nose before returning to her book.
"Dude. It's been five years. Just talk to her." Zayn whispers in my ear. I jump slightly and look at him.
"Nah man. I'm over her." I shrug, pulling my backpack up higher on my shoulder.
"Who. Cora? Yeah, she's hot. Too bad she's a loner, other wise she'd be a good choice." Bryce chimes as the bell rings and she closes her book and dashes to her first period.
"Eh." Is all I can muster. I hate when Bryce talks about girls like an item, especially Cora. But what can I do to change him. He is who he is.
"Hey Jacob." Phoenix's best friend, Kaelin, sing songs as they both approach us.
To clear everything up, Phoenix is my twin sister. Fraternal twins that is. Kaelin Collins is her best friend, who also happens to possibly have a crush on me.
Not to say that she isn't pretty or nice or anything, I just have my sights set on a different girl.
"Hey Kaelin." I politely wave.
"J. Coach told me to tell you, that your schedules been changed and to see him ASAP." Phoenix said, inspecting her nails.
"Uh. Okay." I say, before heading to the gym.
"Wiley. Just who I was looking for." Coach Simon grinned.
"Yeah coach? I heard my schedule was changed?" I question as he nodded.
"Yep. Right here. They had some issues with too many students or something. So they changed your schedule along with a few other students." He said handing me a yellow slip of paper.
