I Needed You

A/N: There's gonna be a bit of um bakutodo/bakudeku in this chapter, but don't worry it's not like the actual ship or anything (I don't ship it btw, not a fan tbh) you'll see what I mean when you read it but don't worry this is a 100% tododeku book!
Midoriya POV:

The first day of UA. Maybe I'll be able to make friends this time. I walk in, no one really notices me, not even Kacchan. I sigh and walk to my desk. A few minutes later a boy with white and red hair sits next to me. "Mind if I sit here?" He asks, quietly. I wave, half smiling. "So, what should I call you?" He asks. I open my mouth to speak, but I can't find the confidence to say anything. I grab a piece of paper and write my name. "Are you mute?" He asks. Before I can answer the question the teacher comes in. He's in a yellow sleeping bag, weird flex but ok.

"Yo green haired kid! You wanna eat lunch with me and my friends?" A spiky red head asks. I guess this could be a good opportunity for me. I nod and we walk to the lunch room together. I notice his attention is fixated on a certain empty table. I look at him, confused. He takes off in a sprint to the table. I follow him, walking. He sits down, proud of himself. I sit down in front of him. I raise an eyebrow. "This is the best table to have! And now that we've claimed our territory, we'll have it for the rest of the semester. As long as Bakugo has something to say about it." He laughs. He knows Kacchan? Everyone starts piling in, including his friends..and Kacchan. I get scared and become invisible on instinct. "Midoriya?" Kirishima looks around for me. "Deku. STOP USING YOUR QUIRK AND FACE ME!" Kacchan yells. "Yo chill, Bakugo!" A boy with yellow hair exclaims. I suddenly reappear. I get up and bow, apologizing. "Go..Gom.. Gomen'nasai!" I yell and teleport to the classroom. I sigh and notice there's someone else here. He turns around and looks at me in utter confusion. "Ah..Sorry, I didn't realize.." I trail off. And I'm talking normally? No stutter? "It's ok, Midoriya." The person says. "How do you..?" He walks towards me and points to my hand, as if asking to touch it. I look at him confused, but let him. It phases through me. '???????????????' "I'm a ghost." He smiles. "Huh..What's your name?" I ask. "You have to name me." The ghost says. "Hm. For now I'll just call you Ghost!" I exclaim. The ghost chuckles. "You should get back to your friends." The ghost says. "What friends?" I ask. He smiles. "I meant that one kid..oh no?" "What?" "He's right behind you." I scream.

"Is that your quirk? Being able to talk to ghosts, I mean." He asks. "Not..not really. My quirk..uh..is being able to..um..teleport and vanish..." I say, hoping he doesn't mind my way of speaking. "I see. So I'm assuming seeing ghosts is new to you?" I nod. "So...why-" Before I can finish my sentence I feel..possessed? You're stuttering is annoying. The ghost says. This doesn't sound like Ghost, So..?
"So why're you here?" 'I' ask. "The cafeteria is too loud for me. I prefer the classroom. I'm Todoroki by the way." He says. He looks a bit skeptical.
"Did a ghost possess you?" He asks. "No. Why would you say that?" The ghost replies. He noticed. "Ah is that so? You don't seem as timid as before huh?" He smirks. God he's hot. "No. I just-"
Suddenly the door slams open. Kacchan. "DEKUUUUU!" He yells. I flinch, even with me being possessed I can't help myself but be afraid in front of him. "Excuse me, can you please leave I'm trying to have a civilized conversation with him." Todoroki says defensively. "eHHH?! And what are you gonna do about it HUH?!" He yells. "I'm going to calmly tell you to leave." He responds. They get closer and argue more. Todoroki and his big dick energy (he is a tal boi) looms over Kacchan and his small dick energy. Sexual tension..they'd look good together...boi. "I've known Deku longer than you, move outta the way." Kacchan says, obviously a bit intimidated. "And you treat him terribly. If I were his friend I would treat him like a king!" Todoroki responds, slightly raising his voice. "Sounds more like you wanna be his boyfriend than anything." Kacchan answers angrily. "That would be preferable. cough Ah yeah? So what." Todoroki smirks. Kacchan gets so mad, he gets red.

"MIDOriya" They both say in unison. "Eh?" "Choose one of us you'd rather be 'friends' with."Todoroki says. Friends? They mean lovers. Yeah, I'm outta here wait no-
"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO KISS HIM NOT ME!" I sputter. *ayy props if you know the ref* "what?" "EHH?!" The both ask, confused.
Crap-
I teleport to the lunch room. Good thing lunch isn't over yet. "NANI?!" Everyone yells. I turn around. Oh
I wave awkwardly.
The bell rings, thank god. Hopefully Todoroki doesn't try and talk to me about the situation..I can't let him realize that I read BL manga or play Otome games...
