What do you do?
When the people you love are hurting
When you can see pain in their eyes
They say eyes are windows to the soul
What if their soul is badly damaged
But worst of all,
What if you can't save them
What if there is nothing you can do to help them
And the only thing you can do is sit back and watch them suffer
But, I guess that's the sad fact of life
Some things are so damaging, there is no fix
But, that's where another sad fact of life comes in,
If you care about someone too much, their pain, is your pain
But it always hurts you more because you might not be the one feeling the direct pain, but you have to watch a person you love, suffer
And that, can cause more pain than anything
So, what do I do?
