This is one I wrote a while ago, so don't judge to much

The pages turn and my mind goes blank
The real world completely forgotten
And monsters and fairytales lie in its place
They become a black fog that fills my head
Silencing any other thought
I may have had
The ink on the paper morphs into and image
Your imagination takes care of the rest
The real world truly forgotten
The pages turn and the story unfolds
A mystery, a romance, an adventure
Until your snapped back into reality
And the fog disappears
The ink turns back into words,
And that little world waits,
On a shelf,
For the next time, you turn the page
