Colleen's POV
"Hey, do you wanna hang out later?" Erik texted me. I jumped when I saw the message. I didn't know what to reply. Should I go? Should I not? Finally, I decided to go and texted him yes. However, as soon as I sent the message, I instantly regretted it. He'd just sent me the message and I immediately answered. That must have seemed so desperate. And how if we acted awkward around each other again? I thought about sending him a message cancelling our plans when I realised that it could ruin our friendship. After all, we'd been hanging out for years already and suddenly I'm awkward around him and I cancel our plans. I quickly brushed away the thoughts and tried to think positively. I decided to do something else to take my mind off Erik. I grabbed my laptop, my bag, my headphones and my jacket and headed out the door. I was going to a nearby cafe to edit a new video. I reached the cafe and ordered coffee and a croissant. However, when I started editing, I couldn't stop thinking about Erik. I kept trying to ignore all the thoughts about him but I couldn't. So I decided to go to Rachel's house. "Hey Rachel, can I come over? I need to talk to you about something that's been bugging me for a few days.." I texted her. Fortunately, she replied immediately saying yes. I packed my things into my bag and headed to Rachel's house.
"Ding dong" the doorbell rang. I'd reached Rachel's house.
Rachel's POV
"Hey Colleen, what's up?" I said while opening the door. She stepped in and flopped onto the sofa dramatically. I picked up some cookies that I had bought this morning and brought them to her. "Rachel.. so much has been happening." She said breaking down. Tears rolled down her face like rivulets. I felt so sorry for her and I didn't even know what was happening. Finally, she said in between sobs, "Firstly, netflix customer service told my fans that I had cancelled the show. Secondly, I don't know what's been happening but I keep getting awkward around Erik and I can't even think about him without panicking." Once I heard this, I knew what was happening. "So for the Netflix thing, it's alright, I watched your video about it and I read the comments as well. Everyone knows you didn't cancel it." Colleen nodded her head as I said this. "Now for the Erik situation, I think.. you might have feelings for him.." as soon as I said this Colleen froze.
