Bella's POV
I'm falling through the sea of nothingness, my limp body seizing.. like what happens to me after a bad accident. What is this? Why can't I move? It's like I'm paralyzed.. I can see everything, but I can't look away. Something is coming... It's coming closer..! An entity made of Darkness. Cold black eyes stare at me harshly. A feral spread across it's face, when it came closer, I realized it was a "he". He spoke to me, in a low, commanding voice. "I can feel you trembling.. I know you're scared. You should be. I hope you remember me soon, because I will come for you, I will find you, and I will kill you." Then, with a grin, he turned away.

I shot out of my bed like a torpedo, eyes flying open, heart pounding, blood roaring in my ears. I hear a high, terrified sound, and people-Darla, she's the owner of the building, and as well the person who takes care of us- and someone else, rush into the room. Their hands are on my face, my arms, running through my hair.. But all I can hear is the screaming.

Anonymous's POV
I can hear and see Bella screaming. Her dark cherry-colored hair is scattered all over, wisps of it stranded in her mouth. She looks up, panic stricken at Darla. Her eyes travel to me, and she stops screaming. I exhale in relief, and her gray eyes flash. "Gabriel," She said my name in a reverie, her pale pink lips parted. God's she's so beautiful... I smile at her slowly, afraid she'll shutter herself in again, like she always does. But then she smiled peacefully, and motioned me to come over. I moved over to her, and buried my face into the crook of her neck. I smiled, and breathed her scent in shamelessly. She has always smelled like this.. Caramel, and autumn leaves. She giggled, "Gabriel, your tickling me..." I looked up at her, and stared into her eyes. Her eyes were stormy gray, and filled with fear and longing. She had another nightmare. "Just hold onto me Babygirl. I won't let you down." She collapsed into my arms, shoulders shaking. She was my Heaven, my every dream. And nothing would ever persuade me to give up on her...

Six years ago
I had been with Bella when she was told about her mom, sister, and her horse. She reacted in the worst possible way.. She was silent. No words, nothing. I tried to make her speak, but she didn't want to.. She backed into another room, and tripped over a stair in the landing. She fell backwards-I lunged towards her, but I didn't get to her in time, before head smacked against the ground. She cried out, and then went limp.

I rushed her to the hospital, but it wasn't enough. The doctors placed her in a medicinal coma to give her time for her brain to heal. After one month, she was diagnosed with a vegatative coma-she wouldn't be waking up anytime soon. Each day, I visited her.. searching for a sign. Anything. The flutter of her eyelashes, the whisper of her breath, her cute little toes wiggling under the covers. And then one day, it happened. She woke.

She coughed, and I snatched the feeding tube off her mouth, while she wheezed, gasping for breath.

"Who are you?" I looked at her shock, replacing my happiness. "I'm Gabriel... your best friend." She looked at me like I was crazy. "Gabriel, where am I?" "What happened?" "Why do you look so different?" I was staring at her and she shifted, uncomfortable under my gaze.

I walked over to her and sat by her. Then I ran my fingers through her hair. I have been in love with her since the day I met her. I had missed her so much.. I called for the nurse and a couple of minutes later, a nurse and a doctor came in. Both were wearing blue scrubs and fake smiles. Her name tag read "Shirley" and the doctor had no name tag. The doctor ushered me out of the room, and I followed. "Hello Mr. Jones... I am Dr. Jennings, and I will be running tests on your sister."

I had to tell them she was my sister, otherwise they wouldnt have let me in. The whole "Family only policy" ya know. "I'm going to have to tell you this information.. Neither of your parents are here... I won't be sugarcoating this information." I looked at him in the eye, nodding. "Yes sir." He sighed, as if sloughing off a big weight from his shoulders.
"Now from what tests we have already run, it seems Bella has blocked all of her memories from the accident, and therefore has no recollection of you're mother's death, or you're other sister's absence." I nodded weakly. "Now, I will go do those tests... Keep her occupied, but don't tell her about the accident." I grunted, and walked back into the room, where the nurse was trying to feed Bella some chicken soup. Bella kept her lips pursed in the cutest way, and looked up at me when I walked towards her. "Gabby!" I missed you!" I frowned at the new nickname. She looked at me, and smiled weakly. "You're so...tall." I chuckled. "Yeah, I'm almost six feet Bells." Her eyes widened to the size of saucers. "B-but how!? Aren't you only fourteen?" I laughed. She is just too cute. "Yeah, but I'm a growing boy." I knelt at her bedside and kissed her cheek.

"I will always be here for you Bell's, I just want you to know that..." She sighed as I played with her hair. "Of course I do. Your my best friend.... as well as my "brother." She smiled mischeiviously. I laughed and wrapped my arms around her. I'll be whatever you want me to be.
