I was unsure what to think of when I saw this room. the place was filled with all these computers and had a whiteboard filled with scribbles of work, it also had some chemicals displayed around on tables. was this the same room dad used a long time ago when he still worked as an astronomer? But something else has caught my eye. I take a step forward to get a closer look at it, and there I see it. A picture of mom that I haven't seen before was pinned to the wall. I reach in for the photo. This must be taken when mom and dad were on their mission(I can tell because they have their uniforms on), they had to study the stars from a closer perspective so they got permission to travel to space. Suddenly my eyes widen when I move to the top right corner of the photo. What is that? I see a giant looking globe with a light coming from the middle, kinda like a UFO. It's too blurry to make out what it is though so if you tried making someone believe this was actually a UFO it would be a bit hard. Out of all the computers in the room only one was open that I could access. The screen had a huge sound wave on it. I pressed the play button and I could hear a high pitched screeching noise that was very unpleasant to listen to, and could possibly break my eardrums if it was any louder. I quickly reached in for the computer to pause it with my other hand pressed down hard on my ear. I think I've had enough of this room for one day. I quietly close the door and head back to my room. I fall face flat on my bed. *sigh* "YUP, I'm done, I just need some sleep right now" get onto my bed, put my blanket over me, and smack my pillow onto my face. How can I sleep with the same thought of that room coming into my head again and again?
When I wake up my head starts hurting like a thousand needles are sticking out of it. I check up on Nysa, she's fast asleep. I slowly step into her room and I sit down at her bedside to put my hand on her head. "If only I told you everything then, would it have been better? would you still forgive me if I told you now?" How could I be so foolish? I knew this would happen, but I ignored all the consequences because all I wanted was to keep you safe, that was her last wish for me. I couldn't tell you. I've never felt so alone and unsure. I make my way into the basement but....." she's been here" she knows.
