"Hi, um this is Erica, the one who's moving in with you, TODAY, yeah um you never left a key for me to enter, and uh your not home, so please call me back as soon as possible, thanks." I ended my voicemail and sat on my box next to my luggage waiting for my roommate to arrive.
It was at least 10 minutes later that I hear footsteps approaching me I look up and see dazzling blue eyes staring at me like he just saw a stranger dancing in front of him asking for a ride home.
"Who are you?" He asked in a ruff tone. "Erica, the one who is supposed to be living with you, my move in is TODAY, didn't you receive my voicemail?" I replied confused. His face lightened up in embarrassment, "oh, right Erica I'm so sorry, I totally forgot, hopefully I didn't take too long." I rolled my eyes and stood up holding my luggage ready to enter the apartment.
"We have attitude I see?" He smirked. Sarcastically smiling I replied saying "well excuse me for waiting 10 minutes for you to come while I waited in a 102 degree weather." It was the hottest day in California since I landed here. The airplane ride was a good idea since I didn't want to drive 11 hours back from home to here, I stayed in a hotel before I arrived at his doorstep.
He chuckled at my response and just STARED at me. I raised my eyebrow and said "aren't you going to open the door and show me my room?" I never have attitude, but I do when things don't go well, like sitting outside in a 102 DEGREE WEATHER!
He just took his card and swiped it in front of the small screen above the door handle and the door was unlocked. I entered and the coolness of the apartment hit my skin and sent chills to my body, I shuddered but it felt good to be in a cool room then outside.
He told me to follow him and showed me the door to my room. "you know if you need an-" I shut the door in front of his face and slid my back against the door, damn was he HOT AF, but I couldn't stand his ass at this point, I was still pissed at him for forgetting about me.
I then noticed how I acted and yelled out "thanks!", hoping he'll hear me I looked up and saw my big room, this apartment was not small, it was huge, obviously this guy worked somewhere to afford this place, his renting price for a place in here was not so pricey so I was lucky, and no I did not know how he looked like so, and I didn't care if he was a guy, his account said he's name was Andrei and that's it, sketchy I know but still it was worth it.
I started to unpack my clothes in the closet and the rest of my essentials and decors. I opened my door slowly and entered the kitchen, I wanted a glass of water. While I was was waking towards the kitchen I was also looking through Instagram when my face hit something hard. "Ouch." I hissed feeling the pain hitting my nose.
I open my eyes and see a shirtless Andrei in front of me all biceps and abs. He blinked a few times, "you good?" He sipped on his orange juice. "Yeah, do you have a cup, so I can drink some water?" He turned to his left side and took out a glass cup from the cupboard and handed it to me, I took it. "Your welcome." He started to walk away into the living room.
I turned on the faucet, "I never said thank you..." he turned he's body facing me and stopped, "one you just did, two you have attitude so I know you won't say anything so..." silence fell through the room, I just stared and took a sip of my water.
He started to walk away into the living room. "...I don't have attitude, I just seem to happen to have it in a 102 degree weather." I finished. He was already on his couch turning his head to me, "I did say sorry." He stated. "I know, but I did say thanks for everything." I replied. He chuckled, "Touché" he's grin made my heart flutter, then I noticed that a big ass frame was above the fireplace and the tv to his right, in the frame was him shirtless with only boxers on him, in black in white filter, did he have a fucking photo shoot for this?!
"A little full of yourself there?" I raised my eyebrow, pointing at the huge frame with the glass in my hand. His head turned to my direction and then back to me, his expression turned into a smirk, "I was wondering what your were staring at for so long." Heat creeped into my face, "Was not." I protested. "Was so." He continued. "Fine believe what you want."
I turned away from him walking towards my door until he blocked it. "Erica right, your interesting, why did you rent this place if you knew a guy like me would live here?" I started turning red.
I smirked, "First I'm surprised you know my name, second I rented this place because it was affordable, and your stupid ego won't get you anywhere, now please move." I crossed my arms, as I felt my chest rise, I had to admit, my chest was not small, or decent, fine they were pretty big, out of all these days why did I have to wear a tank top today.
His eyes turned to my chest and his face flustered, he turned away for a second holding his hand to his mouth, "honey if your going to insult me, try not to seduce me while at it." He smirked. I scoffed, pushing him away from the door, I could feel his bare skin, my hands feeling his abs, he moved away from the door, chuckling. I was so red! I closed the door behind me, how will I be able to live here with this guy, who has such a stupid ego that won't make his brain cells smarter.
I turned my speaker on and blasted music in my room not too loud for him to hear from the living room, rambling through my laptop, trying to forget about him.
