When the boys went to go get ready for the shoot I sat down, my heart beating furiously and my palms sweating. I have never been this nervous at work, so why was I like this now? I mean, yeah they are my idols, but they were just ordinary people, right? Just as I stood up, the door to the make-up and wardrobe opened and out walked the boys. My breathing sped up as they got closer. I tried to calm down but I just couldn't. I was stood over by the camera when they approached me; they all had massive grins on their faces, you could see how excited they all were for this photoshoot.
Me: Hello
Them: Hey! :)
Me: Well, I'm your photograpgher, Lexi :)
Max: Alright Lexi, I'm Max, this is Jay, Nathan, Siva and Tom :)
Me: I know, I'm a big fan of yours!
Jay: Awesome, shall we get started then?
I looked at Jay as he said that, his bright blue eyes locked with my deep brown ones. We stayed like that for a few moments, then broke away.
Me: Right then, umm. Just stand over there and do whatever poses you want... Have fun with it.
The shoot took about an hour and there were loads of good pictures... Some weren't as good as others but they still looked pretty good :)
I put away my camera equipment as the boys crowded around the computer, helping the editor pick the pictures they wanted on the cover of the magazine. I picked up my camera bag and walked towards my boss to say goodbye but got stopped when Jay walked in front of me.
Jay: Hey, It's Lexi right?
Me: Yeah, need help with anything?
Jay: Well I was just wondering if you wanted to come to lunch at Nandos with me and the boys?
Me: Uh, yeah sure! I just need to stop off at my house, to drop my bags off and get changed.
Jay: Okay, we'll follow you there then
Me: Okay :)
We left and got in our separate cars except Jay, who came in my car with me. The others were following behind. Jay opened the glove box and went through my cd's, he looked at me and raised an eyebrow and then held up Battleground... their second album. He chuckled as my cheeks burned from embarrassment, then put the cd in the stereo. Jay sang along quietly to Glad You Came and gradually sung louder. About half way through the song I joined in, and by now we were both singing along at the top of our lungs. By the time the song ended we had reached the block of flats and where both gasping for air from laughing to much at our ridiculous singing.
We got out of the car and waiting for the other boys, then headed up to my flat on the sixth floor. As we entered the boys gasped.
Tom: Wow, your flat is so nice!
Nathan: Agreed... Whoa! Look at the view!
Me: Thanks! I'm just going to go get changed, make yourselves at home.
I went into my bedroom and got changed into a blue and white stripey dress with white heels and a blue blazer. I walked back out to the living room where the boys were, sprawled out on the sofas.
Siva: Ready to go?
Me: Yeah, are we going in your car or mine?
Nath: Well, there are more seats in our car, so... ours :)
Me: Alright then, Lets go to Nandos!!
