"What's your name?" I asked him as he shuffled in his seat, probably getting the blanket from infront of him.

"Oh,"

He cleared his throat before speaking again,

"It's Taehyung." He smiled as he pulled the navy blue blanket over himself.

"I'm Sohye," I replied.

Silence took over after the short conversation between us.

This 4 hour flight was going to feel extra long.

Taehyung had his hair down and he kept raking it back, as it would get in his face often.

He was wearing black trousers along with a white tee and a light denim jacket.

He was focused on reading a book, I didn't know which one.

His glasses were perched on the tip of his nose as he used his finger to push them back up.

You could see the focus in his eyes as they moved across the page like a predator eyeing its prey.

I kept glancing at him as the movie played on the screen infront of me.

He looked so alluring and fragile, it made me want to stare at him as butterflies were forming in my stomach.

As soon as I realized what I was getting myself into, I quickly averted my eyes towards the small, lit-up screen.

I pulled out my phone instantaneously, almost dropping it in the process, as I tapped 'Messages' to text Jungkook.

I scoffed at my phone.

In my peripheral vision I saw Taehyung's head perk up as I made that accidental loud noise.

I quickly turned my heard to face him.

"Oh, did I interrupt you? Sorry, I was just texting someone and they did something annoying and-," I rambled but he soon cut me off.

"It's okay," He chucked.

"Oh," I squeaked as I flushed red.

"So, um, what are you reading?" I asked as I was trying to change the subject.

"It's just a random book I bought to kill time on the plane. It's not very interesting though," He laughed.

His laugh.

"Um, well I guess we could talk to kill time," I said quietly towards the end as I was scared he would reject my offer

"Um, well I guess we could talk to kill time," I said quietly towards the end as I was scared he would reject my offer.

You see, I'm very vocal and expressive only when I'm texting. But when it's in real life, I'm actually a shy, dumb, I-don't-know-what-English-is, type of person.

"I guess so," He smiled as he closed his book and shoved it into his small carry-on.

"So, why are you on your way to Busan?" He asked while resting his arm on the arm rest between our seats.

"I was on vacation for a couple weeks. I left towards the end of school, so now I have a whole two months to do nothing," I pressed my lips together.

"Me too!" He exclaimed a little too loudly as people around us turned around to see what the noise was.

I snorted and tried to hide my laughter under the blanket.

He slowly turned back around to face me and I could see his ears were red.

"Stop laughing," He said quietly and buried his face into the sleeves of his jacket.

"That was like, second-hand embarrassment for me," I choked out as I was still trying to suppress my giggles.

As soon as I was done laughing, I looked out the window to see nothing but darkness.

"Okay, changing the subject, what's your favorite food?" I asked after I turned back to him.

His ears were still tinted pink.

Cute.

"There's this little cafe right next to my neighborhood that I always go to and their chocolate chip cookies are literally the greatest." He grinned.

"What?! No way! Same!" I replied with excitement lacing my voice.

"That's weird," He said laughing.

As we kept on talking, laughing, and sometimes crying, we were interrupted by the plane jerking to the right.

I was pushed into his side, but since the arm-rest was between us, it pushed into my side.

"Oww," I groaned as I rubbed my ribs.

"Are you okay?!" Taehyung asked concerned as you could hear other people on the plane complaining.

"Yeah," I breathed out.

Soon, the plane intercom came on.

"We are extremely sorry for the unexpected turbulence from the wind. We kindly ask for all passengers to stay in their seats until another announcement. Thank you."

The plane kept jerking from side to side as fear soon filled my mind.

"Taehyung," I laughed, trying to ease the fear.

"This is scary," I said as I squeezed my eyes shut.

"I know, It's okay." He assured me as he pull the arm-rest between us up.

The plane moved harshly again and I automatically grabbed onto his sleeve.

"Dont worry, It's okay," He said trying to calm me.

His arm was around my shoulder and I was tucked between his chest and his arms.

I pulled my feet up to rest on the seat as the plane continued to tug.

I buried my face in Taehyung's chest.

My heart was beating extremely fast, except it wasn't from fright.
