I stood in front of the mansion and came up with a plan. There were several guards and servants roaming around, and I knew I could take them all down in ease. I felt adrenaline pump through me as I thought of battle. Being the best at what I do, I find it amusing.

I have yet to be hit once on the field.

I saw a servant eye me from the third floor window, probably suspicious of my traditional white hoodie. Since I've been here, there's been talk among people about the recent murders. I pulled the slip of paper from my pocket and glanced at it one more time.

The picture showed a chubby old man, with a white mustache that I could make fun of for hours. Looking up again, the servant was still there, staring. I stepped forward and eyed the guards that stood in front of me. I turned around and mumbled "wrong house..."

I walked across the street and glared at the servant, who was still staring at me. She backed away, and probably returned to her duties. I continued to walk and turned two corners until I was behind the house. I glanced around, and got a sprinting start and jumped over the 5ft fence. I landed gracefully on the other side and started to climb the house. I peeked into each window and stopped when I saw him.

My Target.

I slowly opened the window and slid inside, closing it behind me. I sneaked over to the wall and slowly made progress towards the next room. I looked into the hallway and, when clear, I walked into the room with my target. I closed the door behind me, and when I glanced at him, he had pure shock in his face. I laughed to myself, loving the fact that he didn't know I would be the last person he saw.

"Hello," he said, standing up, "would you like to purchase property? You came to the right gentleman."

"Uh... sure." He walked around his desk and pulled out a chair for me, and I shook my head, signaling that I didn't want to sit.

He started to talk about a beautiful home, and I thought about when I could kill him. Then, a plan struck me.

I stepped forward and gave him a sexy look. He stopped in surprise and a smirk appeared on his face. He stood up and started coming my direction, and before he could touch me, I stabbed him with my hidden blade.

I laid him down and set his head in my lap, and let him say his dying words.

"Wh... why would you do this to me?" He asked.

"I was hired. No matter, you can't do anything about it now. They paid me my fair share... I'm sorry." I said, sounding sympathetic. Blood pooled around his body, growing cold.

"I... I had so much to live for. At least tell me, were you the one that partook in those recent murders?"

"Yes. It was all me. I do it for the good of this country." His eyes fluttered closed, and I could see that he was trying to hold on.

"Possa Dio avere pietà della vostra anima," I said, resting his head on the ground. I put his arms in a peaceful position, and took a flower from his desk and put it in between his hands. I stood up, and heard footsteps in the hallway. Not thinking, I ran towards the window and tried to open it as fast as I could, but it was stuck. I tried to push it up, but it was too late. The door opened, and the servant walked in. I looked at her, glanced at the body, and stared into her eyes.

I slowly raised my hands and maintained eye contact. She glanced between the body and I for a few seconds when it finally clicked in her head. Her eyes went wide and I took a step forward, internally pleading for her to just turn around and walk away.

"Murder!" She yelled. "Murder!" Thundering footsteps. Panicking, I pulled my swords out of their sheathes, and readied myself. The servant scurried away and three guards took her place. I blacked out and went into battle-mode.

The first guard attacked, and I cut a sharp X onto his chest. He collapsed to the ground, and the second guard attacked. I stabbed him through the face, and used the hilt of my sword to shove him out of my way. The third guard looked surprised, and he called for backup. He tried to run, but I stabbed him in the back.

I jumped over their bodies and ran down the hallway, desperate for a way out. By the time I was halfway down the stairs, I realised I could've gone through the other window. Too late now.

I continued to sprint down the stairs and eventually I came to the living room. Several guards were standing there, and I bolted for the door. They pursued, and I threw a throwing knife behind me. It hit one of the guards in the throat, and the rest jumped over the fallen body. I reached for a smoke bomb, and threw it to the ground. It exploded, and smoke surrounded us all. I took this advantage to dispatch of most of the guards.

There were five left, and I continued to get to an exit. I saw a juggernaut, and I ran faster, using my swords to stab him and thrust him to the ground. I continued to run, and I heard a bang. A sharp pain stabbed my back and I collapsed to the ground, paralyzed.

I knew it was over.
