~Your POV~

The day is finally here. The day you finally decided to confess your feelings to your dance buddy. Jun. Oh and to tell him you passed the audition for JYP entertainment. Walking to the studio, you smile remembering how you two met when you got the footing wrong and bumped into him. You thought he would've gotten mad but he was the goofiest person so you two laughed it off. Since then, you two were inseperable.

Somehow through the years, you fell for him along the way. Even when he had a girlfriend. You guys got even closer when they broke up. He cried on you for eight hours and you sat through it all. You wanted to confess to him for so long but you waited until he had enough time to heal.

Yet for some reason, you found today to be the perfect time to confess. You got in the studio and everyone was there warming up. You dropped your bag and hurried over to join them. Jun slid in next to you, dancing the routine. You two laughed and danced together, kinda play fighting at the same time.

"Everyone can go on break except Y/N.  You'll be doing a solo dance that I'll teach today." The teacher yelled.

"Ye!" Everyone sat behind you against the mirrors, pulling out their phones.

Lucky. You thought.

Jun grabbed you by the shoulders, smiling. "Don't get too nervous. You'll be fine. Just know I'll be right behind you. Literally."

You laughed, glad you had a goofy friend like him. "Araseo."

He ruffled your hair before walking off.

"Okay Y/N, follow my lead. 5, 6, 7, 8!"

It took you about half an hour to learn the routine but you got through it, sweating like hell.

"You did well Y/N. Can't wait to see you debut some day." The teacher patted your back. "Okay everyone, your break is over, it's Y/Ns turn to rest."

Everyone patted your back, heading to center stage. Everyone except Jun. You turned to one of your friends, Yebin, to ask where he was.

"He was on the phone and then stepped out through the back. That's the last time I saw him." She shrugged.

"Okay thanks!" You answered, running out back to check.

Remembering your confession, you stopped at the door, hesitating. Your palms got sweaty at the thought of telling him.

It's alright Y/N. You got this. Who knows? Maybe he feels the same way.

That last sentence gave you enough courage to open the door, but what you saw made you wish you stayed inside.

Jun was definitely out there, but he was no longer on the phone. Instead, he was kissing his ex, the girl he cried eight hours for.

You felt your heart fall to the pit of your stomach, like someone ran over it.

He looked up, spotting you, shocked. "Y/N! How long have you been standing there?"

Your voice was a hoarse whisper, trying hard to hold back tears. "Long enough."

You slammed the door, locking it.

He called after you, banging on the door. "Y/N! Y/N open the door! What's wrong?! Talk to me!"

You ran back into the dance room, grabbing your bag before making a lame excuse about having a tummy ache and bursting out the doors.

The tears only came down when you were certain you were far enough from the studio. Walking the last two blocks, you cried long and hard watching your phone light up with calls and texts from Jun.
