You called your bestfriend to the rescue, you noticed some changes such as nausea and tiredness. These past few weeks, you didn't have a moment for yourself between your work, your kids and Tom's busy schedule. It was crazy, so you just put your worries aside, until today.
There was a knock at the door. Bobby barked and ran at the door. When you opened it, you found Y/BF/N holding brown bags.
"I bought a few...we have to be sure!" she shrieked, quickly inviting herself in.
You took the bags and headed to the bathroom. You decided to do all the tests at once so you wouldn't have to stress yourself for too long. You never realized how slow three minutes. When the timer went off, you took a deep breath and stood up, walking slowly towards the sink where the tests sat. You looked at the tests and gasped. Two lines showed on each test.
"Oh my goodness... I'm pregnant" she said with no real conviction.
You stared at those tests for 10 minutes hoping that the result might change. Unfortunately, no. You weren't overwhelmed but rather shocked, Tom and you didn't plan to have another child, especially after your three boys, William, Jacob, and Samuel.
"Y/N... Are you sure you're all right?" she asked worriedly.
"No... it's not good Y/BF/N!" she blurted out, "I can't be pregnant, I shouldn't be pregnant."
"You're exaggerating Y/N, you'll handle this like champions with Tom, you already have three, you've had practice," your best friend said laughing.
"You don't understand Y/BF/N, Tom will kill me when he founds out! We agreed that after Sam it was over," you tried to explain twisting your ring and pacing in the room.
"Don't worry, everything's going to be all-" she started but couldn't end her sentence interrupted by Bobby's barking and the sound of the front door.
"Damn it" you grumbled, concern rising in your chest.
"Love, we're home!" Tom yelled at the bottom of the stairs.
"Uh-oh, that's when I leave," she said before adding, "call me later, sweetheart."
When she arrived at the bottom of the stairs, she came face to face with Tom, surprised to see her here.
"Oh, hello Y/BF/N!"
"Hi, Tom... Bye, Tom!" she replied as fast as she could and leave in a row.
Your three boys ran towards the kitchen, walking past their father to get their after-school snacks. Tom followed them to put them up and give them their treats. Once they were settled, he decided to go and find out what his wife was doing up there.
"I let you here stay out of trouble! William, you're in charge of your brothers, ok?" he said.
"Don't worry, dad!" William said nonchalantly, eating his snacks and drinking his orange juice.
He left his boys behind in the kitchen and climbed the stairs. He walked around the hall to find you in your bedroom. He found you sat on your bed, a vacant look on your face, clearly on your thoughts.
"Darling? Something's wrong?" he asked you, worried about your condition. You jumped with surprise when you heard the sound of his voice.
"Thomas, we need to talk," you replied in a voice you hoped was convincing.
"I don't really like that tone, and usually I don't really like what follows either," he said trying to lighten the mood, but with no success.
