The night was dark, Melissa was in her apartment with her best friend and her cat. As usual, it seems that some furniture was being moved to the apartment above hers. However, she already called the Police a few days ago to complain about it and the apartment was empty. No one seemed to live there and there was certainly no furniture. The police thought that Melissa and her friends pulled a prank on them. But Melissa was serious and her friends as well. However they thought that maybe the noises were not from furniture being moved but perhaps it may be a broken window, with the wind it may have slammed the doors upstairs. She tried her best to be rational, but the noise tonight were louder. A sudden Boom really scared her, she couldn't bear to hear the noises again. She decided the go upstairs with her friend and to check if maybe there some homeless people that were taking refuge in the empty apartment. Melissa and her friend moved upstairs and when in front of the door....she grabbed the doorknob...and tried to open the door... ...... The door was locked, as it should be...which meant that the apartment was empty. Melissa and her friend went back downstairs. Melissa decided to call the landlord and explain the situation to him. He understood the problem and took it seriously saying he will check tomorrow. After hearing the reassuring news from her landlord, Melissa told her friend that this may end soon. Melissa's friend was happy to hear about it. The time goes on, Melissa and her friend were watching some Netflix series. However, it was time for Melissa's friend to go home.

It was 11 pm, Melissa was alone in her apartment, she decided to continue watching some Netflix series on her TV. Then....someone knocks on her door... Melisa was caught by surprise but she still went to check to see who it was. She looked through the peephole, it was her neighbor. She thought that maybe she put the TV too loud so she opened the door for her.However, after opening the door there was no one in sight...
