BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-*

"Uhhhggggggg!!!" I say in frustration. I sit up in my bed and reach over to turn off my alarm clock. It's August 16TH. The first day of public school. Great. I think to myself. I walk over to the bathroom I share with my 8 year old brother, Jackson. I turn the door knob and it won't open. I shake the door knob and it's locked. I pound on the door.

"JACKSON. OPEN THE DOOR ITS MY TURN!"

I yell.

"Alright alright! Geez find some patience will ya?!"

"Whatever." I say as I roll my eyes.

Jackson opens the door and goes to his room. I look at myself in the mirror. My dirty blonde hair is all messed up, with tangles and knots. My greenish blue eyes are still trying to open up, after a deep sleep. I brush my hair and put hairspray in it and put it in a basic pony tail. I wash my face with cold water and dry it with an old rag placed on the bottom shelf.

"SKYLAR! Time for breakfast!!!" My mom yells from downstairs.

"ALRIGHT COMING!"

--------------------------

I walk downstairs, still in my Pajamas. I could smell the chocolate chip pancakes from my room.

"Looks good mom!"

"Aww, thanks Sky."

Sky is my nickname. My family and friends call me Sky, or should I say friend. I have one best friend, his name is Luke. And yes, he. We've been friends until our mothers put us in our cribs for the first time. But now, I can see Luke more often, I'm going to Luke's school. North Waters High School.

I quickly eat my pancake and chug all my milk.

"Thanks mom!" I say as I'm running up the stairs.

"Welcome!" She replies back.

I got to my room and stare at my closest for a bit, trying to figure out what to wear. I checked the weather and it's supposed to get really hot today.

So I pick out some black shorts, a basic white crop top, and I slip on my white converse with golden squares studs. I go over to the bathroom and brush my teeth.

"ITS ALREADY 7:57?!" I say in shock.

I quickly rinse my mouth with mouth wash and go across the street to Lukes house. He's already sitting on his porch waiting for me.

"You ready?" Luke says.

"I guess." I say.

"Let's go then."
