"Ina?? Marina! Wake up!" Shouted one of my attendants. "Ugh...Why can't you just leave me alone, Rose?" I said tiredly as I rolled over on my side. "Get out...let me sleep some more..." "I would love to do so Lady Marina, but you have a lot of work to do today..remember it's the day your father is coming home for the first time in 6 years..." Rose told me gently. I sighed and slowly got out of bed. "Great. Bastard finally shows up and probably wants to talk about the family business, even though I'm his only child he won't speak to me unless it has to do with business." I walk over to my wardrobe and grab one of my dresses.

Rose smiled brightly as she helped me into my clothing. "You look just like your mother...too bad she's sick in bed." I nodded.
"Another reason I hate my fathers guts, he has the audacity to leave my mother in bed sick for 6 years." As you can tell from this conversation that we are having, I am Marina the only daughter of Charlotte and Charles Song. My mother and father founded a famous music school...or should I say schools now, two years before I was born..I am now 18 years old so it has been open for 20 long years. My father left about 6 years ago to 'travel' the world and he sent a letter 2 months ago saying that he would arrive today, on my birthday..I wanted to sleep in but I am supposed to plan my own gala as well as a welcome home dinner for him. "Rose, is everyone ready at the gates?" She nodded. "Yes ma'am. They're just waiting for you now.." I nodded. "Alright. Shall we go?"
I headed for the door and was stopped by Rose as she grabbed my shoulder. "What is it?" I asked her confused. She looked down into my sea colored eyes as I looked into her emerald ones. "Marina..You are aware that you are 18 now, right?" I nodded. "Yes..where are you going with this?" She sighed. "Sir Charles just might force you to get married."
I looked down. "I..I know that, but that can wait. Right now, we have to go and prepare for his return." I said confidently as I walked out of the room and towards the entrance.
