Adopted by a serial killer

Chapter 5

It has been two months and every time some one comes to adopted they completely ignore me, I mean I have feelings to. but there are people coming today and tomorrow, I don't really want to get picked because I heard story's that some kids were adopted but the parents mare them like slaves, plus I would have to make new friends.......

"Mary! I'm getting adopted" my best friend Emma yelled. I hadn't even know they were here.

"That's amazing! don't forget me."i said back.we both ran upstairs I helped her pack I was sad but happy for her being adopted she had been waiting almost all her life. if your wondering her parents gave her up when she was five. but now that she is getting adopted she can have the family she has always wanted. by the time she had left it was time for dinner.everyone was quiet not knowing what to do or thinking of why they didn't get picked or what ever they are thinking

That night I had the same nightmare I had every night.

" I was walking home still mad at my dad when I felt that I we being watched, stopped and looked around I was about to start walking again but a hand covered my mouth and a knife was at my throat I reached for my phone but before I could call the knife cut my throat open. and I was killed."

I woke up to sunlight and the head lady.

"A man is here get ready and go down stairs."

When I got down there I saw a guy about mid 20s and he looked nice.when he saw me he told the head something than left.

"Congrats, you're getting adopted." she squealed

"But why did he leave?"

"He had to do something."
