Kits!//Chapter Three

(Your POV) (T/P)
You saw Tigerstar come into camp after what seemed like moons. You walked over. "Where have you been?" You asked him, eyes narrowed. He smiled, rubbing his nose against yours. You looked at him, confused. "I have a surprise for you!" He said happily. You blinked. He's never this excited. You thought. "Stay here." He bounded off, a smile on his face. You waited for him. You felt your eyes grow wide. He dropped the small bundles of fur onto the ground. "You have your wish granted, love..." He told you, sitting down. You stared at the three kits. You smiled and nuzzled him.

"So that's what took you so long." He nodded, nuzzling you back. You looked back at the kits. (FYI, these kits are Sasha's. Tadpole, Moth, and Hawk. It's an AU where Sasha gives Tigerstar her kits for a price.) "Question..." He flicked his tail. "Why does this one-" you placed your paw gently on the dark brown tabby tom kit. "Look a bit like you?" He blinked and looked at the kit. "I don't know...maybe the mother or father looked like me or something?" You shrugged it off and licked the kit. "Thank you, Tigerstar..."

He nodded. "What should we name them?" You asked him. He flicked his ear. "The tabby Hawkkit, the She-kit Mothkit and the black kit." He paused. "You can name him." You blinked your (E/C) and looked at the kit. "I dunno. Maybe..." (I NEED HELP ON WHAT TO RENAME TADPOLE. SHOULD I KEEP IT OR RENAME HIM? IDK IF TADPOLE IS A PREFIX SOO...) "I'll think of something." He nodded and smiled. "I'll go get (T/K/N) and (S/K/N)." He meowed.

You watched him leave and sniffed the kits. They seemed well fed and healthy. Mothkit let out a small mew. You purred and licked her. You only just noticed that all of their ears were open. It was their eyes that needed opening. You saw your other kits come over. "More kits?" (T/K/N) meowed. (S/K/N) smiled and crouched down next to you. "They're so cute!" She said happily. You smiled and looked over at Tigerstar. He gave you a small smile.

"Thank you..." You mouthed to him. He nodded. The kits mewed and you sighed. "Should I?" Your mate nodded. You grabbed them carefully and brought them to the nursery. You explained to the queens that the kits were brought from the forest. After that, you walked into Tigerstar's den. He wasn't there. Huh? He'd usually be in here when nobody needed him.

You waited for him until it practically almost night. You didn't just sit there. You checked on the kits, went on some patrols, then waited some more. When you went patrolling, Tigerstar was nowhere. Eventually, you fell asleep in his nest, even though you had your own. You woke up when you felt someone curl up next to you.

You growled and inched away from your mate, recognizing his scent. "What wrong?" You didn't answer him then sighed. "Where were you?" You asked, turning onto your other side and facing him. "It was like Blackfoot was leader!" You told him. He sighed. "I was...busy..." You snorted.

"For the whole day? Yeah, that's real believable." You told him, turning back to your other side, your back facing him. "You'd understand if you were in my place." Tigerstar growled. You stayed silent. You knew that wasn't true.

The tabby pulled you closer to himself. You blushed, still pretty upset with him. He licked your ear. "I'm sorry..." You buried yourself into his fur. "Y...Your not seeing someone are you?" You asked him, facing him.

You placed your paws on his chest. He touched your nose. "I'd never want to....I have you." He whispered, licking your muzzle. You nodded. But something told you he was lying...
