“Hello?” A teenager asked. “Hallo. My name is Ludwig. I am the Android from CyberLife.”. I said as I weakly smiled. “Oh! Come in!” She replied as she held the door open. “Mom, the Android is here.” She told a older figure. “Oh. Hello.” She replied back. “Would you like anything?” Marissa asked. “Nien, I am good. Thank you though.” I replied, still smiling weakly. Marissa noticed and dragged me to her room, which was filled with all types of nerdy things. “Okay...What’s wrong?” Marissia asked, now very serious. “Nothing is wrong, I can promise you that.” I replied coyly. “Quite the act. 1) I know what you are doing because I do it once in awhile. And 2) You are a terrible actor, trust me.” She told me. After that. I started to cry for the first time. “I MISS HIM~!” I cried. “Who?” Marissa then asked, getting some tissues. “Ivan…” I sniffed. “I see...Want to call him?” She then asked as she wiped away my tears. I nodded my head. “Ja…” I sniffed again. “Okay. Hey Ludwig. Call Ivan.” Marissa ordered me to do. “Calling Ivan.”. I said in a monotone voice.

Ivan was sitting in his living room, enjoying his 2nd cup of coffee and watching some political news to get caught up. Every now and again, Ivan would either sigh or agree with whatever the news anchor said. It’s only been a half our since Ivan dropped Ludwig off at Marissa’s house in hopes he’d perform well. Moments later, his phone rang. “Hm? I wonder who that could be...” he wondered to himself as he sat down his coffee and got up to answer the phone. Ivan cleared his throat and answered the phone. “Privet! This is Ivan! Wh--” Ivan looked at another screen that lets him know who’s calling. Pulling the phone away for a brief second, Ivan sighed with exasperation. “Ludwig. Already??” he asked him. “I miss you…” I said trying not to cry again. “I want to see you again.” I pouted. “But I just left you there almost 45 minutes ago! Is there something you’re not telling me? You’re literally only a few days old.” Ivan replied to him over the phone. “Maybe he has a deep connection with you?” Marissa replied to Ivan’s question. “What do you mean?” Ivan asked obliviously. “Sure I gave him some kind of emotions. But what could step deeper to that?” He asked.

“I know he wants to come home...but I cannot let my clients down and I need to have feedback from my clients to see how he runs with different people. He’ll see me again in 2 days, then he’ll send off for Client 2.” Ivan replied sternly. I started to cry again. “Bu-But I want to see you now. I don’t know why, but I do!” Ludwig argued. “I am taking him back.” Marissa told Ivan. “Блядь! (Blyad/fuck)” Ivan exclaimed looking at a framed photo of a Connor RK900 model. “Fine. But he’d better expect something to be done to him since you’re not...no. He’s not satisfied.” Ivan said in an almost intimidating voice. “Ja, okay.” I replied happily. I didn’t know what he meant, but I wanted to see him, badly. Ivan hung up the phone, almost with a slam, although he didn’t really mean too. With the phone hung up, he walked around his living room with his hands in his hair from being distressed. “First day on the job and he can’t even keep it! Something has to be wrong with this android model. I’ve checked everything before, during and after creating him...what is going on!??” Ivan was starting to get a bit irritated at this point. He sent a message to Ludwig and he would receive it rather instantly. “I’m taking a nap before I’m coming to get you. I’m rather irritated and I don’t need to take my anger out on you. So how about you stay there for a while longer and get to know Marissa. How about that? See you later. End Message.” “Okay! See you soon!” I replied. “Ivan is going to take a nap, so he wants me to get to know you better. So… what are you thinking about?” I asked her. “Totally not memes, totally not memes, totally not memes.” She was thinking as the “I am a Giraffe” “Vine”.  “What the---?” I then asked out loud. “YOU’RE NOT MY DAD!” She yelled back. For some reason, I laughed. “Of course not. I am a Android. But, I can be that if you want.” I replied, smiling. “No, no, no. I’m good. But thank you though.” Marissa replied back.

Ivan, laying on his couch in the living room was thinking about the situation that just happened. He sighed heavily a lot due to the thoughts he was having about Ludwig. “How...Just hOW!??..I-” he tossed a pillow onto his face and screamed. “I’m running everything again and I’m going to integrate something into him so he becomes better. Let’s just be honest here...” He spoke aloud to nobody in particular with his right hand in his hair, then quickly raising them in the air. “NOBODY WANTS A WEAK PUSHOVER ANDROID!!” Ivan exclaimed in Anger. He paused and thought about the whole situation, not just his end. He sighed to calm down. “Maybe I should hear what he has to say before I forcefully put himself through sudden changes...Ugh. I’m taking a nap.” Ivan rolled over into the couch, hugging his pillow and went to sleep.

The time came for Ivan to take Ludwig home. The car pulled up and stepped out Ivan. “Come on!” Ivan demanded impatiently. He saw Marissa just behind him. “My apologize. Next time I will send off something better for you if you so desire. Thank you for trying out my MC100 model...” Ivan turned his attention to Ludwig as he made his way to Ivans car. “While it lasted...” Ivan said sharply. “Have a nice day! ^J^” he smiled as he got into the driver's’ seat, waiting for Ludwig to take passenger so they could take off. “Oh no! He was a pleasure to have. I would love to have him again.”. Marissa replied as she waved goodbye. “Ivan...are you mad at me?” I asked shyly as I grabbed his hand. Ivan inhaled deeply, preparing himself to not lash out and reminding himself that he needs to also understand his own creation. “Ludwig.” Ivan began, his tone hinting with slight confusion as he started the car to head home. “Do you want to tell me a few things as to why you failed to do this task?” he asked honestly.  “I would. But I don't know why I am failing. I can complete tasks perfectly, but when I start to think about you. I kinda malfunction…” Replied as the “red thing” appeared again. “I want to know you. I want to connect to you.” I then said. Ivan still continuing to focus on the road while listening to him, he suddenly pulled over since it just became clear what Ludwig was talking about. “WHAT?!” Ivan shrieked with little embarrassment. “W-whyyy???...Humans and Androids can’t be together! It just doesn’t make sense!” Ivan explained with a light shade of blush across his face, but that was from the embarrassment of course. “What do you mean by “Together?”” I then asked confused.

“Didn’t you mean it in that manner just now? When you said you wanted to connect with me?” Ivan asked with a blush still on his face. “ I do. But I do not understand the terminology that you said. Can you please explain to me?” I asked him. “Well. Usually when us Humans use ‘together’, it usually refers to a love interest.” Ivan told him starting to head onto the road again to head home. “But sometimes, it does mean for a platonic relationship.” he said. “Oh.” I said before I giggled. “You know Ivan. I want to know you. I want to know more of you. Can you tell me about yourself?” I asked him, as I scooted closer. “Let’s get home first.” Ivan told him. It wasn’t much longer then they finally arrived home. “Alright Ludwig. Sit down on the couch and I’ll tell you a bit about myself.” Ivan told him.
