1.Journey of my life

HARSHITHA POV:.                             "Take care dear,eat properly and call  me when you get time",my mom said.I nodded my head and kissed her cheek.       "Bye mom, I'll miss you".  My father was waiting in the car for me. I took my bags and got in the car.The car started moving and I felt a strange emotion filling me.I felt both fear and excitement.Being a shy person,I am not very social,am kinda scared of strangers.The first time I had this feeling was when I joined college after completing school.It was the first time I left my parents,my brother and my native place to go to college and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. It took a lot of time for me to adapt to the new surrounding. I got my bestie for life 'Nila' because of whom I was able to survive there. But my college was within my state,a travel of six hours from my home.Whereas that is not the case now, I am going to a different state where the language is different and people are different. My dad told,if you don't want then you don't have to do it. But it is a great opportunity for me to do my post graduation in a big medical college hospital in Mumbai.Nila encouraged me to take the seat which I got after appearing for the entrance exam. So I wanted to do it. I want to become strong and independent. 
"Harshu!"
"What dad?"I blinked.
"I have been calling you and you seemed to be zoned out".
"Dad,actually I am feeling a bit nervous".
"You can do it darling. My little girl is stronger than she thinks. Don't worry your brother Prabhu will come with you to Mumbai this time. He will make sure that everything is safe and comfortable for you. Anything you want call daddy anytime. I will come there immediately",he smiled.
"Ok daddy".
We got down from the car and entered Coimbatore railway station. We waited for 25 minutes. Train was late by 15 minutes. The train arrived and after  I got settled, I said "bye dad,take care".
"Bye Harshu ma, call your brother and inform about the train delay,be careful dear".
And the train started moving....

After 9 and half hours the train reached Chennai central railway station. I got down and started searching for my brother. I find him and he is already walking towards me.
"Hi anna(elder brother)!!!,how are you??"
"Fine Harshu, missed you a lot. Did you eat".
"Yeah anna  I ate. Mom packed me food".
"Ok then, let's go".
He carried my bags and we came out of the station. From there we hired a taxi and went to his rented house in Chennai...
