chapter 5

I step out of my limo and go into my dance studio
everyone greets me very friendly.
I go to a private dance school so it's just me and
dance teachers.

I take my uggs off and go inside and put my ballet shoes on because first i have ballet. firstly we did frappés and such and arabesques I think they're called and I stretched my legs on the bar as well.

then I did corner which is when you go into the corner and you do jumps turns and spins and different dance moves until you get to the other corner that is diagonal from you... we did pose turns and Chené (sheh-nay) turns... and walks with pointed toes and split jumps and sit outs
and a thing called tree frogs.

then a drink break and then we do jazz
and for jazz first we do normal stretching like touching the floor with flat hands and lunges and side splits and middle splits and straddles and arm stretches...

then jazz corner is like ballet mixed with hip hop pretty much and then I go into the middle and do jazz pirouettes and ballet pirouettes. pirouettes are spins on the balls of your feet with your leg turned out and your foot up to your knee. but jazz pirouettes is when you have your knee facing in front.

then acro!! my favourite type of dance!
the type of dance that involves contortion and flexibility and tumbling.
I take out the mats and I first start with cartwheels to the end of the mat and then round offs then one handed cartwheels and one handed round offs and then bridge walks and then handstands then front overs and then front walk overs and then knee front walkovers and cartwheels onto knees. then one handed front walkovers.

then individual tricks is when you just stay in one place and. you can do chest stands elbow stands and shoulder stands.

then a drink break and snack break.

then we skip hip hop and do musical theatre.

Musical theatre is when you do a dance and lip sinc the words so it looks like you're singing.

Disney songs are good and songs from musicals are good... I did the song from the musical Hairspray: you can't stop the beat.

then it was time to leave.

"Bye , Miss Abby , Bye,Miss Jenna"
I say as I grab my bag to leave and slip my moccasins back on

I exit the door and call my limo and 2 minutes later it arrives and I climb in
and in the view of the tinted windows I see in the distance Chris and Kalle. Together.....Kissing...
