Lizz's pov

It had been a week since Kim came to live with us and it had been great. She paid part of the rent and when I was busy she would pick up Lily. She was always helpful and a great cook, which came in handy as I only could cook noodles, and she abd Lily were already great friends, Lily even called her auntie Kim.

Today it was Sunday, a day which usually was spend in our flat with friends watching films. Kim would meet my other friends today. Kat, a bubbly small Scottish girl with short black hair who got over-emotional when given sugar, and Gracie, a average girl with simple brown hair who always looked serious but was pranking you as soon as you turned your back.

I had just came back from the park with Lily when I got a text saying that they would cone in ten minutes. I placed Lily on the floor, after which she ran to her dolls, and walked to Kim who was reading a book on the couch.

"Kim? There are some friends of mine coming over soon. They want to meet you and we are watching films, want to join?“ I asked her, giving her a choice if she wanted to meet them.

"Sure! I absolutely need some new friends, my last ones were all friends of 'Cheater´, so it would be lovely to meet them.“ she told me, her British accent obvious.

I giggled. "Your British accent sound funny!“ I laughed, making Kim look confused.

"My accent? But you sound British yourself!“ she said, confused why I found it so funny.

I looked to the ground, not wanting to explain why I still wasn't used to British slang.

Then the bell went. Saved by the bell, I thought, walkig to the door to let my friends in.

"Lizz! Im missed you! Where is our new friend? How's Lily doing!“ Kat exclaimed, hugging me fast and running into the house to look for Lily and Kim. Laughing I turned to Gracie. She hugged me lightly and smiled. "It's good to see you again. How have you been doing?“ she asked me.

I smiled lightly. "It has been okay, we will catch up in a moment.“ I told her, walking towards the living room, where Kat was firing questions at Kim.

"What's your name? How did you meet? Do you have a boyfriend? Where do you come from? What type of person are you? What do think about Lizz? And Lily?“ she rambled, leaving Kim speechless.

Laughin me and Gracie stopped Kat.

"Calm down Kitten, let her introduce herself.“ I told her, placing her next to Gracie. I looked at Kim, letting her speak.

"So, ehh, I am Kimberly Thompson, eighteen years old. I am born and raised in London and I am currently in an acting school. You can call me Kim, since Kimberly is such a long name.“ she told them. Gracie was satisfied with that, but Kat neede to know something else.

"How did you meet?“ she asked with a frown.

That made Kim panick. She looked over to me, obviously not knowing what to say. Fast I jumped in.

"It's a bit of a long story.“ I told them, not really wanting to tell them.

"Spill.“ is everything Kat said, wanting to know what happened before she approving of Kim.

Sighing, I began. "Well, you know about Tony, obviously, and I came home last week from picking up Lily, expecting him to be working or watching the television or something. But when I walked in, I heard moaning, and it turned out that he was cheating on me.“ I told her, hesitating because of the fact that Kim was the one he was cheating with.
