Zero was seated against the pillar that turned around in a curve to the staircase.

"Blood pills?"(y/n) squeaked in horror.Walking down the stairs slowly as Zero sat up and stood up.

(y/n) was only a few steps away.

"Get back!"Zero warned.

"But, why?Why are there blood pills?I want to....know..."(y/n) trailed off slowly and looked to the side.

"You don't.Need.To.Know.Your better off without knowing, especially Yuki."(y/n) winced at the harshness in that one sentence that formed from his lips.

"You know, when I first met you two years ago, I thought you would see me differently than the other vampires, and would open up eventually to me.I guess一I was wrong, I'm sorry for disturbing you."(y/n) took a step back before her words struck him like a knife into his heart.

*slow motion*

Zero reached out and caught (y/n)'s hand.His grip was tight一so tight, her hand started to bleed.

"Z-Zero let go."(y/n) stuttered trying to take her hand back without pulling him with it.Instead一Zero pulls (y/n) down the stairs and catches her with a harsh grip on her waist, his other pulling a strand of her long hair behind her back to expose her smooth and pale neck.

Zero nears her neck and trails his tongue up her neck.(y/n) winces at the warmth on her cold vampire skin.

Blood.He's taking so much.But, he's my friend一I can't hurt him, even if he's a vampire....

"Z-Zero一Y-Your taking so much...."(y/n) looks away and stares at the floor with dull eyes.Zero sits down against the wall bringing (y/n) along with him.

The moon was high in the sky, casting dark shadows across the wooden floors.

A series of footsteps started coming closer to the two, halfway through, Zero had already stopped drinking and had lapped a few drops of blood.

Once he returned to his senses, he looked at the red velvet blood and immediately pushed (y/n) from behind her and she landed sprawled on the floor, her own blood that dripped onto the floor seeped into the back of her new blazer.

The footsteps stop.

"You have been reduced to a bloodthirsty beast, Zero Kiryu."Kaname's voice echo into (y/n)'s head before Zero's name brings her back from her trance.Sitting up to seeing the closeness of Zero and Kaname.

"You devoured her mercilessly.So much, that she was caught in a trance."(y/n) immediately stands up and blocks the both of them.

"You can't hurt him!I won't allow it!"He legs whimper and starts to fall, before Kaname picks her up bridal style.(y/n)'s eyes droop and finally fall in Kaname's arms.

"How was (y/n)'s blood? Was it delicious?"Kaname's words hit Zero like a brick, Zero brings his hand up to his mouth from disgust of himself.

Kaname walks past Zero and brings (y/n) down to the infirmary.On the way, (y/n) wakes up and is blinded by the light of the infirmary lights as they entered.

"Your awake."The scent of her own blood still lingers in the air.Kaname set's (y/n) down on the chair and starts grabbing towels to clean the blood, the punctures were already healed.

Before she knew it, tears had already fallen, staining her skirt.Kaname comes back and starts wiping the blood from her hair and her neck.

"Are you afraid of your own kind now?After being a creature of human nature for so long."Kaname asks soothingly.(y/n) shakes her head.
