BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
It continued to beep in a fast rate. I could hear footsteps running around me and the door always being opened and then closed.
I tried to open my eyes, and had a bit of relief that I could see a tiny amount of what was going on. My eyes could only peak and not fully open, but I did not have to worry. I could see somewhat everyone.
But I was searching for someone...
And that someone was Jake.
I tried to raise my hand up but was a bit worried that the numbing would not allow me, but then I could suddenly. I slightly moved my head to see that my hand was indeed hanging midair, and it was trembling a lot.
The urgent footsteps suddenly went quiet, and then I felt someone's hand go over mine sending sparks and fireworks around my entire arm.
"Christina?" Jake's voice said to me.
His face had a shadow over his jaw, his eyes had deep dark cirlces underneath them. His hais was a flying mess as well as his clothes.
But that did not matter to me... The Moon Goddess listened to me. I felt some tears appearing, and was happy that I could see Jake and the others one more time before I leave.
I tried to speak but before I could another sharp pain crashed against my chest. I whimpered in pain and started to shake.
Feeling something wet sliding down my forehead, I knew that it was my own sweat.
"It's okay, I'm here... we are here." Cooed Jake urgently as he trid his best to hide his pain, but I could still see it in his eyes.

-Jake-
Christina was awake! The clock was about 11: 45pm, and thankfully she woke up before midnight.
I could feel a burst of happiness in my wolf and I, but somewhere I could feel a tinge of pain. Pain in my chest area. I knew right then and there it was Christina... she was currently feeling it.
She started thrashing around in her bed, but ti was not huge but slightly small. I looked up to see everyone of us all had a look of panic, and that we wanted to help her but we could not... there was nothing to help.
I closed my eyes as I felt some pressure build up behind it. Opening them, a couple of tears fell onto her cheek.
She stared at me pleadingly. My wolf started whimpering.
I leaned my head against her own and breathed in deeply of her scent that was ever so strong. "I'm so sorry... I can't do anything... anything to stop the pain..." I whispered to her as I gazed her eyes.
I knew that she so badly wanted to speak seeing as her mouth would open up and close constantly, but as soon as I said that to her, her eyes held understanding in them.
Which broke my heart even more.
She knew that any second now she would die. I shut my eyes, and a small sob came out from my mouth that only she would hear.
I felt her hand come and touch my arm lightly, seeing as there was sparks from where she was touching.
Opening my eyes, I noticed that she gave me a soft smile.
We stared into each other, not caring that there were others in the room. This moment will only be for us... only us.
