Sam's POV

I'm worried. Like really worried. Yes Emma is strong but....what if leukemia is stronger? No I can't doubt her. She'll make it. What does the nurse mean by bad news? What happened? Oh my god. We gave each other worried looks and walked into the room. Jc and Alissa were hugging. They were both crying too. "It's all my fault Jc" Alissa whined. "No Alissa it's not your fault." Jc said. "Yes it is Jc! She's dead because of me" Alissa said. Jc hugged her tighter. I felt tears swelling up in my eyes. She's dead? No. This isn't possible. No this....just no. I looked over to see the paramedics putting Emma onto a gurney. They were lifting her up and were about to set her down but Kian yelled "stop!" Everybody looked at him. He ran over to Emma and so did the rest of us. Then he did something really unexpected. He reached over and grabbed Connors hand. Then he started singing. He started singing the song "say something" by Great Big World. Connor joined him. Eventually we were all holding hands around Emma and singing Say something. We all had tears in our eyes. At first I thought it was really weird and I felt like we were at church or something. But then I started thinking about Emma and I got really emotional and into the song. Then something amazing happened. A miracle. She coughed. Yeah you heard me right. The girl who we thought just died coughed. We all looked down at her in shock including the nurses. She opened her eyes a little bit. "I love you Jc" she said. He wiped the tears under his eyes. "I love you too Emma" he said. "Before I go I just...I just need to tell you" she started to say. "Tell me what Emma?" Jc asked. But she had already closed her eyes again. Jc fell to his knees. He bawled. "No Emma don't go!" He begged. I felt more tears coming on. We were losing all hope. All hope was lost. I shook my head. "Tell you that I love you" she whispered. Jc looked up. She smiled at him. Then the machine next to her bed started beeping again. "Emma!" We all shouted. She let out a small laugh. All the doctors ran over to her an pushed us away. But we didn't care. She was alive! This is amazing! I was so happy I just started laughing. Oh my god this is just OH MY GOD! But then the beeping stopped. We quickly turned around. "Oops sorry I don't know what I did" Ricky apologized. He had accidentally pulled the plug out of the socket that went to Emma's machine out while trying to plug his phone in. We all laughed including the nurses. Oh thank god she was alive.
