The love she had, but didn't show.

Mission... Of Love?

Lance had been checking on all of his teammates and friends, the life of the paladins was rough, even Allura and Coran had many difficulties keeping up on their ends, usually because the system was to slow to register how much the Paladins did. Lance was checking on them because well, he cares for his friends. They meant the world to him, he cared for them more than he cared for girls. That's a lot. Lance was looking for Hunk to check on as he had the tendencies to make some living creature with the cooking tools you made dead things in, like a modern space Frankenstein. Or so he thought. He imagined hunk with a weird hunch back companion... who looked a lot like Coran?

Lance knocked on Hunk's door.

"Come on in."

Lance entered.

Hunk was sitting on his bed meditating, something the recently zombie-like-friend Shiro had asked them to do to keep their minds clear to have better control over them.

"What's up buddy?"

"Not much, just wanted to see if you were relaxed..."

"Well I'll have you know I'm feeling great. Thanks for paying attention Lance."

Hunk wondered as Lance left why he was worried about him.

Lance approached Keith's room.

He heard Keith talking to his mother about the way he thought of Shiro, to which his mother replied.

"Who you are does not change my love for you."

"Thanks Mom."

Lance figured they were doing good, plus Keith didn't really like him.

Lance got to Allura's room.

*knock knock*

"Hello, who is it?"

"Allura it's me Lance..."

"Oh hi Lance, give me one moment."

"Gotcha."

Allura opened the door.

"Are you alright Lance?"

"I'm fine Allura, I care to make sure you were doing okay."

"Thank you for your concern Lance, however I am doing wonderful."

Lance said his salutations and as he left Allura noticed he did not flirt with her for a split second, she was startled.

Normally by now Lance would be looking in Shiro's room, however he had been spending more and more time around the Black Lion training.
So Lance went to the hangars.

"Hey, Shiro."

"What's up Lance?"

"Are you feeling alright?"

"Well I mean I'm not dead."

"Fair point."

"In all seriousness I think I should be asking you if you're okay Lance."

"Why's that?"

"Well for starters you have not been flirting at all, and you haven't made any wise comments about my old-man-esque hair."

"I don't know, I guess I'm just a bit worried about everyone, My friends are the most important thing to me and I worry constantly and the fact that I had no idea you were dead, that scares me. And I don't want anything happening to you or anyone else."

It was shortly after this that Lance was going to say something again and before he could, Pidge tumbled out of a vent that was angled downward and hit the floor of the hangar.

"Ouch..."

"Pidge?"

"Yeah?"

"How long were you there?"

"Longer than it took hazelnuthuntress to finish Across the Stars for You..."

"What?"

"Nothing."

"How much did you hear?"

"Uhhh..."

"You should be honest with him Pidge."

"You're not helping Shiro."

"Well?"

"I heard all of it"

Lance gave the small girl an embarrsed look, then figured she was alright.

As Lance was going to visit Coran he was going to see if he could play "Monsters and Mana" with him

However he looked into the bridge and Coran was asleep in a chair, so he let him be.

As Lance was entering his room he heard some rustle in the vents, he was hoping it would be the mice as they're good cuddle partners when times get tough...

There was a small time period where it was weirdly quiet when lance was in the bathroom, who knows why.

When lance exited his personal bathroom, like the ones all the other paladins have, he was surprised to se pidge sotting in his bed crisscrossed turned the other direction.

"Pidge?"

"Lance I gotta question..."

"Go for it."

"Do y-you want t-to uhh like maybe g-go on a d-*cough* date?"

"I didn't think I'd hear that question..."
