"Celine wake up!" I heard someone yell from the other side of the door. I growled lowly, opening my eyes meeting the sun glare peeking through the window, squinting slightly.

Lifting myself up from my bed, my hands gliding against the silk sheets, yelling back, "I'm awake."

"We have a meeting with other Alpha's in 30. Be ready and down here." He said, hearing his footsteps slowly fade away. My brother, Alex, was the Alpha of our pack, The Dark Knight Pack, we were more of a respected pack.

I swung my legs over the bed, my feet hitting the cold hardwood floor. I dragged my feet to the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I slipped the clothes off of my body, turning the knob to the shower hearing the water hit the floor.

I stepped into the shower, letting the warm water hitting my back easing my tense muscles, feeling relaxed. After i rid myself of any sweat, dirt, and grease, i turned off the shower watching the water splashing fade away.

I stepped out onto the fuzzy blue rug, wrapping a towel around my head before one around my body as well. I opened the door, paddling my wet feet to my closet looking for an outfit.

I decided on my Def Leppard shirt, which was kinda baggy on me, and ripped black skinny jeans. I was a small petite woman, being 5'2. I was small but had curves in all the right places.

I walked back to the bathroom, dried myself off before putting on a pair of matching light pink lace bra and panties. I slipped the T-Shirt over my head and tugged my pants up my legs.

Finally dressed, i took a brush through my hair brushing out the tangles. I decided not to mess with it today and just leave it down and wet.

I grabbed my favorite Victorious Secret perfume, sprayed it a couple times on my neck before leaving my room. I heard voices downstairs, the meeting must have started already. I sped up my pace downstairs into my brothers office seeing Alpha Jackson with his mate Luna Alice (Alpha and Luna of The Silver Pack), Alpha Xavier (Alpha of The Red River Pack).

Alex was the first one to greet me, "Have a seat Celine, Alpha Gray should be here any minute, then we will begin."

I was greeted with other 'hello's' and i smiled back, acknowledging them. Even though i couldn't focus after he said Alpha Gray. I never met him but i knew of him and his pack. They were ruthless, killed for fun. I winced at the thought, 10 minutes have gone by deep in thought while the others were carrying a normal conversation.

Hearing a loud knock on the pack house door, Alex stood from his chair, "If you'll excuse me."

They were all still deep in a conversation that didn't include me, after alex left. Honestly I don't know why i come to these meetings, it's useless for me to be here, but Alex insists on me coming so he can have a second opinion when his beta isn't around.

My head snapped to the door opening, Alex and two other men behind him walked in. Everything stopped, he was gorgeous. Dark brown hair that matched with his deep brown eyes. He has a stubble beard along his nice sharp jawline. The shirt he was wearing outlined his muscles. He was a large man, at least 6'3. Gorgeous.

I met back up at his eyes finding them staring back at me, He had a small grin on his face. Alpha Gray.

'Mate' My wolf, Lex, whined in my head.

My eye widened in disbelief, Alpha Gray was my mate?!

How could i be mated to the most ruthless man alive?

"Mate." He growled lowly, loud enough for everyone to hear, as he stalked toward me.

I backed up against the wall, I'd be lying if i said i wasn't scared. He stopped when he was within arm length away, "What's wrong, love." He said, a husky and deep voice that made me feel weak.

"N-Nothing" I mentally face-palmed for making a fool out of myself. Although he thought it was amusing, his smirk never leaving his lips.

He moved closer to me, i could feel his warm minty breath fanning my face. The comfort of warmth spread through my body like wildfire, as he lifted his hand placing it on my cheek caressing slowly.

"Beautiful. What's your name, love."

"Celine Reid." I whispered, my heart fluttered at the word 'beautiful'.

"Celine" He repeated, a shiver ran down my spine at the way my name ran so smoothly off his tongue.

He made me forget about all the awful stories I've been told about him. He didn't seem as bad as everyone made him out to be.

He set a hand on my lower back, turning to the side where everyone sat wide eye staring at the scene in front of them. I completely forgot they were in here.

Alpha Gray cleared his throat before he spoke looking at me, "Go get packed your coming with me"

With that, he walked to the table, "Now shall we get started?"

They went on with their meeting and my brother didn't dare look at me, or say anything to me. He went on as if everything was normal, I couldn't help but feel hurt.

"Love, you didn't need all this. I could've taken you shopping." Gray looked down at my 3 suitcases and my backpack.

"You still can." I shrugged, winking. Shocking myself, where did I gain this confidence from. He found it amusing, a small grin on his face, while loading my things into his car.

I watched as Alex walked by me, pretending as if i wasn't there, "Alex?"

He hmm'd in response.

"What's wrong?" Other than the fact I'm the big bad Alpha Gray's mate.

"Seems like it's time to go." Seeing as Gray and somebody else whom i have yet to know, have loaded my stuff into his car.

I looked back to find Alex gone. My heart sank, what did i do?
