THEM (ON HOLD)

Jimin

Tae wakes up to the soft humming of his phone. Before he could realize what was going on, his phone stopped buzzing. It took him a few long minutes to wake up fully.

3 missed calls.

Jeon Jungkook

The name sent shiver down his spine and he was wide awake.

He took some minutes to himself and then placed the call. After a couple of rings, the call connected and a sweet cheerful voice responded. A smile made his way up to Tae's lips.

"Yeoboseyo, Taehyung?"

"Yes"

"Sorry to leave it like that last night. I really had to go" Jungkook said

"It's okay. Kookie" Tae sighed "So....umm...I was thinking would....you....I mean if you onl-" Tae's rambling was cut off by Jungkook

"Go out sometime?" Jungkook chuckled "Sure"

"You pick the time and place....if you want to...."Taehyung said super nervous.

"Umm....Ice cream modell, the one beside the downtown park, today at 7?"

"Cool. See you there?" Taehyung said

"Yeah bye Tae" Jungkook smiled into the phone

"Bye bye Kookie" Tae hung up.

A smile crept across his face when he thought of getting to see Jungkook again. His face dropped when he thought of Jungkook hugging Namjoon. Non of it made any sense so he just shook his thoughts away and made his way to the bathroom.

In the next 20 minutes, Tae was dressed and ready. He needed to go to the recording studio. He missed his demo yesterday so he couldn't afford to miss this one.

He opened the door was was greeted with a smiley Jimin. He smiled cutely, his eyes shinning bright and his orange hair damp which indicated he showered not long ago. He was wearing a loose white T-shirt and shorts.

"Breakfast's ready" He beamed at Tae which made Tae smile. He considers himself the luckiest guy on the planet because he has Jimin by his side.

Jimin and he met twelve years ago on Valentine's day. Both of their dates stood them up. The cafe was pretty full with couples and Tae remembers the pink haired boy giving him a smile from across the room. After that Tae couldn't resist going up to him. They became friends right away. Couple of years later, Jimin got into Dance school while Tae became a Trainee in Bangtan entertainment. Jimin became a very famous Dance instructor and Tae an international music sensation. Even though they were so different, their friendship remained warm and true. They always had time for each other no matter how busy they got.

"Looking handsome, Jiminie" Tae said making Jimin giggle.

"Thank you" Jimin said "You don't look half bad either. Now let's go before your breakfast gets cold" Jimin playfully nudged Tae's shoulder. All these twelve years has made Jimin understand Tae inside out. He knows Tae is still a little soft from last night's blow up but there's something bright in his eyes and the reason, he is going to find out at the breakfast table.

Yoongi was reading his newspaper while Hoseok was on the phone with someone. He looked pretty frustrated. Tae came and sat down on one of the chairs. Yoongi looked up from the newspaper and got a sharp look from Jimin. He got the message.

"Hobi, come and have your breakfast. Tae's here" Yoongi looked at Hoseok.

Hoseok looked at the table and saw Tae staring at him. He quickly said something into the phone and hung up.

"Good morning, Tae" He greeted Tae with a wide smile and sat down beside him. He picked up the hot toast and dropped it with a screech "FUCK!" Everyone laughed at Hoseok's foolishness.

"Hobi Hyung, I just told everyone its hot. Don't you listen to me at all?" Jimin giggled while serving the bacon and eggs.

"Jimin-ah, I don't listen to short people" Hoseok laughed and Jimin huffed.

"But you do listen to me" Yoongi said, folding his paper and placing it beside him. Hoseok gulped and everyone laughed.

"So Hyung, who were you calling?" Tae asked Hoseok, while putting butter on his bread. The laughter died down and was replaced with silence.

"Umm....it was boss...He was asking about the new song" Hoseok lied, avoiding eye contact. Before Tae could say something else, Jimin cut him off.

" Now boys, no business on the table" Jimin said sitting down. He shook his index finger at them and pouted. This made the other three boys stare at him in awe. Everyone knows how beautiful Jimin is. How precious, tiny, fragile he is. He can make heads turn even when he's wearing sweats. Jimin clears his throat snapping the three boys back to reality. "so Tae you look pretty happy today" Jimin smiled, slyly. He can read Tae's mind but wants to see Tae talk about it.

"Well....I'm kinda going on a date tonight" Tae rubbed the back of his head and tried hard not to blush. Yoongi choked on his coffee.

"You got a date?" Yoongi asked "With whom? Jungkook?"

Tae nodded and took a few sips of his orange juice. He looked pretty whipped and nervous at the same time. Jimin chuckled at Tae's expression. Hobi checked his watch.

"SHIT!!" Hoseok said stuffing his face with Toast, eggs and bacon. "We are late. It's already 11:30" He gulped down the whole glass of orange juice and pulled Tae up.

Tae hurriedly finished his breakfast and gave Jimin a kiss on the forehead before heading out. The kiss meant nothing other than he'll always be there for him. These two has grown up but these little childish things never changed, keeping their relationship pure and strong.

"Bye'' Jimin beamed at Tae.

I know I promised an update soon but my phone broke so I couldn't type.
From now on, I'll try to update sooner once every week or even sooner. I'll to update quality chapters cuz these actually look like shit.
