Finally we got off of our plane and was sitting in the airport waiting for Austins dad, Rich, to come pick us up. Austins mom wasn't around much, and when she was Austin never made an effort for me to meet her, he was more worried for me to meet his dad and step mom and brothers. I was worried and nervous to meet them because what if they didn't like me? Would they tell Austin? Or what if I don't like them? I could possibly be stuck with them for the rest of my life, I mean I'd hope I would even if they were not my favorite people. I lived Austin and if his family is important to him, then they'll have to be important to me too. Austin got a text from Rich saying he was outside. Austin grabbed his bags and mine, before I could even try to grab one of them. He was such a gentleman. He gave me butterflies in my stomach, he was the best. We met up with Rich and Austin introduced us. Rich smiled wide and brought me into a bear hug immediately. "I've heard so much about you Dallas! Austin wouldn't shut up about you for not even two minutes every time we were on the phone with him. Also I love the fact that both of y'all names are Texas cities. Haha" he said to me and Austin. I felt my face get hot and my ears. I had no clue Austin talked about me like that. It was cute though. "Okay dad calm down now. Don't scare my girlfriend away, I need her around." He chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling us side by side. And he kissed my forehead and then cheek. We got into Richs Ford and headed off to their home. Austin sat in the back with me even though I told him to sit up front with his dad. He said no and sat with me instead. This made me feel some type of way, but I ddidn't know how. Maybe loved and protected. I'm not sure. But that was never a new feeling, I always felt safe with Austin. He always protected me, from paparazzi and fans or whatever else he could. We pull into a large suburban neighborhood, and pull into a white, two-story home. It was pretty modest, nothing fancy or extra. It was cute.  We parked and got out of the car, grabbed our bags and headed inside. We met Austins step mom right when we walked inside. She grabbed him.and hugged him. Then turned to me and hugged me. "Oh my god! Hi its finally nice to meet you. Austin doesn't shut up about you."
I laughed and hugged her back. She smelt so good, I know its weird, but still. I looked at Austin and he winked at me, nudging my arm. "They like you."
