Angel Cloud was a beautiful girl who had no reason to think of what she wanted to do or what was going to happen later that day. She had light pale skin that looked extremely soft. She had innocent dark brown eyes that were glazed over and dead that showed signs that life once existed in them. She had long black hair that she kept in a braid and bangs that hung over her eyes. She had a delicate frame. You wouldn't dream of hurting her or finding out her true feelings, or what even went on at her home.

Angel's black school shoes clacked against the stairs as she made her way up to the door that led to the roof of her school. She made it to the top and pushed it open. It creaked as Angel's hand lingered on it a moment longer before shutting it behind her. The sunlight danced across her face, heating her cheeks. It had a strange warm welcoming to it.

The black-haired female continued down the concrete roof until she got to the banister. Just as she was about to take off her shoes, she saw a young girl with braids on the opposite side of the banister, looking over the green and lush school ground. Her brown hair was in a braid and she wore the same school uniform Angel did. Her boots were on the other side, where the female watching her was. She stared contently at the horizon, and Angel knew what she was going to do.

To Angel's own surprise, she shouted, "Hey!" The girl's head swiveled around and Angel saw the girl's dead brown eyes widen. "Don't do it . . .please." Angel gently touched her lip with her cold hand. 'Wait a minute, did I just say that?' Angel thought to herself. She couldn't care less anyway. She was about to do the same herself and wouldn't live long enough to be guilty about letting this girl with braided hair die.

Honestly, Angel was a little angry at herself and the girl with the braided hair. This was an opportunity to escape the pain, an opportunity missed.

The girl's eyes slowly went back to the way they were before, not shocked, just dead. She turned her head back to the horizon, and said, "You've probably heard this all before. It's not a rare story. It's actually cliche. I really thought he loved me. His pretty face, eyes . . ." The girl stopped and drew in a shaky breath, obviously holding back tears.

"But one day, he told me he didn't want to go on, that he was done. There's really nothing else for me here," the girl concluded. Angel felt a sudden sadness and pity for the girl, but it was quickly replaced by anger. How the hell could this girl get there before her?! She wanted to die today! This girl was lucky she hadn't lost everything! Angel remembered the smirking face of that son of a bi—

She noticed the girl and started crying silent tears. The girl had a sad smile. "I'm sure I should thank you for listening," the girl said.

Then she jumped off the roof, and disappeared.

Angel made it to the roof. This time, she was determined to jump. She took her shoes off to reveal short white socks, which got a little dirty on the roof. Angel look back up and saw a person she seriously wished wasn't there.
