Chapter 6

"Guys magcon in an hour" Carter called as Hayes, Nash and I walked into our hotel room.

"K!" I shouted back before closing the door.

"Shower shotgun!" Hayes called.

I rolled my eyes.

"Is that even a real thing?" I protested.

"It is now" he replied taking off his shirt.

"Hayes get in the freakin bathroom before you undress" I said pushing him into the small room.

"You wanna see more?" He said with a devious grin.

I shut my eyes trying to get the image out of my head.

"Ew no just take the freakin shower already."

I grabbed my phone and jumped onto the bed.

There was a message from mom.

'Sky wants to FaceTime, when's the best time?'

"Hey Nash sky wants to FaceTime, when do you wanna?" I called.

"7:30?"

"Yeah sure"

'7:30 sounds good for us hbu?'

'Sounds great see you then!'

'K bye'

"Nash I call shower next!" I said quickly.

He rolled his eyes.

"Fine"

I opened snapchat and checked my stories.

"Nash! You've been sniping me this who time?!" I asked, annoyed.

He nodded while laughing.

"Two can play at that game!" I replied with a smirk.

I took a video him laughing and added it.

"Alexxxx stoppp" he whined.

"You started it"

"Well I'm finishing it" Hayes said, walking out of the bathroom.

"I'm older!" I shouted running into the bathroom and shutting the door.

I choose a pair of light wash denim shorts and a USA soccer jersey.

I slip on the clothes I chose and left my hair natural in a ponytail, it's wavy light brown. I did my makeup natural and walked out. I slipped on a pair black vans and my boot.

"Showers open!" I called to Nash.

He slipped in and I grabbed a five dollar bill from my bag.

"I'm going to the vending machine down the hall" I told Hayes as I grabbed my phone and opened the door.

"Alex?" A voice said behind me.

I turned to see my ex boyfriend Ryan.

Nash hates him.

"Hey Ryan" I said stopping.

"How have you been?" He asked casually.

"Um I've been good" I replied.

"That's good" he replied awkwardly.

I nodded.

"I just wanted to ask um do you wanna go out sometime?" He asked.

I looked down.

"I'm kinda with someone" I explained.

It was mostly an excuse.

"Oh ok that's cool" Ryan said.

"Well to be honest I don't really know, but I shouldn't cause ya know" I rushed the words.

"Well I should go" I said breaking the silence.

I shouldn't feel as bad as I do now for turning him down, I mean he cheated on me three times.

I sighed and decided to walk down to Starbucks instead.

I reached the coffee shop and walked in.

The girl working behind the counter, eyes lit up.

I smiled at her and she did the same.

"How can I help you?" She asked.

"Could I please have a Venti passion tea lemonade with sweetener" I said.

She nodded and I handed her the crumpled up 5 dollar bill in my hands.

She handed me my change before making my drink.

When it was done she handed it to me with a smile.

I looked down to see some word written.

'Have a great day! I'm a huge fan!'

I looked up at her and smiled.

"Do you want a picture?" I asked her.

She nodded with a grin.

She pulled her phone out of her pocket and we took a selfie.

"Could I get one on my phone?" I asked.

"Yeah!" She said.

I stopped the man walking by and had him take a picture.

"Thank you!" I called after him.

He waved.

"What's your Instagram?" I asked her.

"It's @paigejennings22" she said.

I first followed her and then posted the picture and tagged her.

'Met this fan at starbuck! Thanks for the support💕 xoxo'

"Oh my god thank you so much" she said almost crying.

I smiled and hugged her.

I sat down at the small table and just stared out the window, exhibiting the lobby.

"You wanna talk?" I heard Paige.

I looked up at her and offered a smile small.

"Okay, sounds good." I said gesturing for her to sit down.

"So my ex is here and wants to get together and stuff, but he cheated on me three times so I defiantly am not getting back together with him." I said.

Paige nodded to give her approval on my choice.

"Cam and I kinda kissed last year at magcon but then Nash freaked out and now I don't even know" I admitted.

"Sounds like you just need to play it as it comes" Paige said.

I nodded.

"Thank you, could I have your number? You're a good listener" I said with a small laugh.

She laughed and gave it to me.

"I should get going" I said grabbing my drink and walking back upstairs.

"Where the hell were you?" Nash half yelled as I entered the hotel room.

"Starbucks..." I said almost as a question.

"Next time tell me" he said.

"Yeah okay mom" I said sarcastically shutting the door.
