Let's start over

It's been two weeks since Daniel moved to Michigan, and well so far so good, he'd already made friends with Logan and every one else from school, and of course he has many friends

We'd normally ride our bikes home together from the park but that was always it, we never spoke.. probably that's just how things were going to be

We left early today morning for the park, he seemed really happy but I dared not to ask why, "you look really pretty today" he said in a whisper...
"What does that mean?" I scoffed "are you trying to say that I don't always look beautiful" he smiled and stopped and so did i almost immediately.....what's wrong I said as we got to the park.... Can we talk?

"About what?" I said

Dialogue 🌸

Daniel: I really don't like this silence between us Cavs, we used to be the best of friends and now I can't even cough out enough courage to say hello

Caviie: oh...don't bring that up Daniel.please

Daniel: for how long do you want to pretend like nothing happened

Caviie: for as long as I need to, Daniel....I have a good thing going for me right now

Daniel: but common....

Caviie: (interrupts) but nothing Daniel, why can't I ever be happy.. why do you always have to come between me and my joy

Daniel: Caviie,I never for one day stopped loving you

Caviie: too bad Daniel,because I moved on a long time ago..

Daniel: common Cavs

Caviie: no, stop..don't call me Cavs..only my friends get to call me that

Daniel: why are you hurting me, Caviie

Caviie: I wish it would be easier to say goodbye..but I guess not (enters bike and rides away)

At this point I could barely breathe, caviie's voice kept playing in my head...

School would start in a day time, Caviie would belong to another guy, I couldn't watch that, what was I going to do...I sat still on the park bench, as though waiting for Caviie to have a change of mind, but she never came back💔
