Chapter 5

The next few days were depressing for Wesley, they had the funeral and Wesley just stayed quiet with tears in his eyes.he stayed in the exact spot where Laila died and he obviously missed her a lot. This led to a little something that isn't really healthy for a human...suicidal thoughts. Wesley spoke to himself saying " ugh I miss Laila so much I can't live without her...I wonder if maybe I can see her on the...other side". Wesley tried to find and rope which he found near the water and he used the rope to tie to a tree...he tied the rope around his neck and said " Laila don't worry...I'm coming back ". He put his feet off the ground and just hanged there. A few minutes later skyla and Natasha came from getting wood and saw Wesley hanging." Oh my god skyla we have to get him down!" Said Natasha.

" ugh do we have to?! My back hurts from carrying the wood" said skyla.

Natasha looked at skyla with a serious face and skyla said " ugh fine but you better massage my back after we are done " they got Wesley down and they gave him water and made him breathe.

Kendrix and Felix just came from getting food and they saw what had happened. " yo what's going on here? " asked Kendrix with a surprised face.

" Wesley tried to kill himself and we are asking him why"said Skyla.

" now Wesley why did you try to do this?" Asked Natasha.

" because...ever since Laila died...my heart has been failing every day...my heart will stop one day..and it will be cuz of the accident...( flashbacks of the accident) ugh I just wish I was closer to her!...I could have saved her and she could have been here right next to me! It was my freaking fault she died MY FAULT! Ugh I HATE MYSELF UGH I HAD EVERYTHING PERFECT IN MY LIFE AND BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET CLOSE TO HER SHE DIED!...it was all my fault and now it's too late...she's gone forever because of me." Natasha responded saying " no Wesley it wasn't your fault..Laila was just a victim of nature..you Couldn't have saved her if you had the chance ( interrupted by Wesley ) " YES I COULD HAVE! I would have pulle her away and risked myself for her I was supposed to protect her..three years just went draining down the drain!!! ( Natasha continued talking ) Wesley there's nothing none of us could have done! Just because Laila's gone doesn't mean you have to leave too..we already been through enough we don't want to lose you ( Wesley talked again ) your only saying that cuz you don't know how it feels to lose somebody...I bet if Kendrix died you would feel the same way ( Kendrix interrupted ) woah don't jinx it Wesley ( and Wesley continued ) you would feel the same way if this happened to you...but if it makes you happy I won't kill myself ill just stay in the hut thinking about the greatest person in my life that I just lost". Natasha lastly said " alright Wesley...please don't try anything... Come on skyla lets get more wood for the fire ". As they left Kendrix and Felix stayed with Wesley and they just sat in the hut talking about if they will make it out alive.
