Forgiven (A Legend Fanfic) [On Hold]

Prologue

Before Champion Epilogue:

I hear his voice in my dreams. He calls out from every angle, yet I see no one. I turn and shout his name at the top of my lungs, "DAY! DANIEL!!! DAAAYYYYY!?!"

No response.

I hear another voice calling out. It's female. Except this time it's coming from in front of me. I begin running towards the vaguely familiar voice only to run into an invisible barrier. On the other side I see a blurry figure, (Obviously female, blonde hair, eye colour undetectable, about 5' 5") but can't tell her identity. Until she begins speaking.

"June, it's okay. June, I forgive you. June, I gave him back. June, he forgives you! Go to him now!"

That voice. I'd remember it anywhere, even though I had heard it only once. Day's mother.

"No! No I can't! He deserves better! I hurt him! I hurt him too bad!!!" I scream as I sink to the floor crying.

No response.

This time another figure appears in front of me. Not blurry. (Long pale, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, typical Lake sector attire, around nineteen years of age, about 5' 11"). At first glance, I thought it was him. But it was worse. It was the person I had gotten killed.

"John." I say my voice catching in my throat.

"June, go to him now! June, he remembers you! June, he needs you!" He yells to get the point across.

By this time I'm screaming. My voice sounds raw and ugly as if I'd been screaming for months on end. Perhaps I had been.

"June? June, look at me."

This time it's him. The boy whose forgotten me. The boy who is my light. The boy who lives only in my dreams now.

I wake up with a jump. I'm sweaty and my voice is as raw and ugly as it was in my dream.

"It was only a dream," I say as I began sobbing into my hands.
