I wake up to a displeasing pop tune. "Not my Song." I groan. I crawl out of bed and throw on a white-tee and a pair of cargo shorts. I scramble my body downstairs to make myself a piece of toast with jam. I tune the radio to a light rock and pack myself a lunch for the day.
I head outside with my bag and guitar case and hop on my bike. It's 6:00 am and I'm presented by a radiant sunrise. I ride off from my suburban home to the out of place music store in the Upper District.
As I past by the General District, I can see the City Square has new flowers. I get a whiff of their pleasant fragrances. You can see the City Square getting ready for the Summer Music Fest next month.
I get off my bike and lock it outside the music store. I walk in an get greeted by, "good morning Caleb, what are you looking for?"
I turn my head and see Zahid, a tall, thin, brown male, with short messy black hair. I reply to him with "good morning Zahid, looking for the new Metal Warhawk album." (That was my best attempt at making a rock band name)
"Take a look over there," he points to the shelf next to the Summer Music Fest poster.
"You planning to perform at the Music Fest?" I ask for small talk.
"Been thinking about it, how about you?" He replies.
"Yeah I'll be playing my guitar this year," I answer as he checks out my purchase.
He waves me goodbye and I ride my bike to school waiting for school to begin.
