I was in my office spinning in my chair, I grab my pen off my desk . I sigh, I hear my door knob jiggle as my eyes lit up.
"Hey Bestie!" Paul yell, I roll my eyes as he grabs my hand.
"Listen, i might not be who you expected. But Matthias wants you for a Battle universe video." I nod, I stop walking as Paul struggles dragging me along.
"What are we playing,Who am I up against?" I question, Paul looks at me.
"Your playing hide n' seek in the dark, Your playmates are Joey, Mariah, Bryan,Sam and Gunner." My eyes twinkle.
"OF COURSE!" Paul says out loud, Paul starts to drag me there. Paul breathes heavily as I laugh.
"Your heavy." I hit Paul's shoulder, As he grabs it.
"Ouch!" Paul tried hitting me back, I dodge the hit. Paul takes me in to blue base.
"There our recruit is, It Common denominator Connor." Bryan says, I wave him off. Gunner hugs me, He turns around to Bryan.
"Shut up Bryan, Your mad no one really likes you." I put Gunner on my back as he giggles.
"Okay, You guys sticking up for each other~," Joey says, He hits Bryan's shoulder.
"I wish Bryan would stick up for me, Cause I do it for him all the time." Bryan looks at Joey.
"I apologize, I didn't know we had a stick up for each other group." Mike walks onto the scene, He hits Bryan on his head.
"There was always a group dumbo." Mike says, The Camera man puts a thumbs up as they start.
"Hello and Welcome to Battle Universe!" Joey says, Mike gives Joey a mean side eye.
"That was my line joey, I'm the Game master!" Mike yell at Joey, Joey just laughed.
"Anyway, were playing Hide n' seek in the dark Challenge."
"With Nerf guns." Mariah says, Mike grabs the Nerf gun from her.
"The seeker will Cary this nerf gun, As the hiders will find nerf guns around the building hiding. As there is a safe spot upstairs,But you need to find the code." Mike explains the rules, We nod as mike makes us play rock, paper, Scissors.
Mariah won, She had an explosive bubble. She starts to count as we run, I go into the weaponry room. I close the door going to the box, I open it finding a Nerf elite strike hyperfire.
"Yes!" I say excited under my breath, I hear Mariah's foot steps. I go in to the next room over, I hid in the corner.
Sam came over to where I was, I shoot her as I thought she was Mariah at first.
"Wow, Just shoot me." Sam whispered, As I laugh.
"Where are you guys?" I hear Mariah, I run out of the corner as I go back in to the nerf room.
"Ouch!" Someone whispers, I look in the dark room.
"Sorry Jo-, " I get cut off, As Mariah points the laser pointer to us.
"FOUND YOU!" I get up but stumble as the shot missed, I finally run out the room and hide in the cubicles.
"AhHh!" Joey yells, He jumps over one of the wall dodging the bullets.
"Hey." Joey gets a heart attack, As he looks at me wide eyed.
"You scared me." Joey says, I laugh with him after that.
Bryan came over here, He hid with us behind the wall.
"Sam, S-Shes gone. Mariah got her." Bryan let's out fake tears.
"Not Sam, She was a great solider." I say, Bryan looks at us.
"We need to find the safe code and Gunner." Bryan says, I nod.
"Ill find Gunner, And you will find the code. Joey your good at dodging, Keep a distraction." They nod, I go search the bottom floor. I see a dead Sam, I look in the hall.
"Gunner?" I say, He peaks out of the huge box.
"Over here!" I say, Waving for him to come over. He gets out of the box running over to me, Mariah comes from around the corner.
I grab Gunner by the waste pulling him closer to me, I shoot Mariah in the forehead.
Joey also shot her in the back of the neck.
"Thanks I was running from her, Now she has to count double time!" I look at joey.
"Ouhhhh!" Joey says, As he points to us.
"Saving the princess aren't ya." Joey Says, I roll my eyes letting go of Gunner.
"Where's Bryan?" I say, I shoot Mariah in the arm.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" Mariah yell.
"FOUND IT!" Bryan yell, We run into the break room.
"THANKS DEAD/ ALIVE SAM!" Bryan says, Joey laughs. We see Sam eating a sandwich, She looked at us with a mouth full of food.
"This is all a dream." She says,We crack up as Bryan told us to hurry.
Mariah grabbed Gunner by the neck.
"Give me the code or ill shoot! " Mariah says, My gun goes to shoot for Mariah as Joey does the same.
"Don't!" Bryan says, He gives the code to Mariah. He walks away slowly, And then....
"Gunner duck!" Bryan yells, Joey and I shoot for Mariah as she falls.
"LETS GO!" Joey yells, I put Gunner on my back again.
"Should we take the spirit of Sam?" Bryan says, Sam eats the rest of her sandwich nodding.
Joey puts Sam on his back, We get upstairs as we didn't have a code.
"Bryan we left the code downstairs." I say, As Bryan laughs.
"Ghost Sam and me are a good team cause-," Sam rolls up her sleeve, The code was on her arm.
Mike was right there, He got up as he smiled.
"What's the code?" Mike asked.
"80192456." Sam says, He let's us in as we sit at the table in the safe zone.
"See Bryan that's what I was talking about, The stick together for each other group." Bryan laughs, I sat there with Gunner as he sat on the table.
Mariah on the other hand, She only killed one person. Even though she still lost, She never thought we would work together.
"I thought Bryan would leave and take it all for himself."
"Wow, Then I would be lonely Mariah." Bryan says, We talked to her while she was on the other side of the door.
"Thank you for watching Battle universe-," Mike could not finish as Chairs clash to the floor, As Joey was holding Bryan back.
"Nah Mariah, You just MAD you only got one kill with the best gun!"
"Bryan, You couldn't even kill half the people in that room!"
"Hi-five." Mike whispers, As they stop recording. Gunner goes to calm down Bryan, As I go outside to stop Mariah.
