Chapter 3

"Hey hey wake up" I was gently shook awake, once everything came into view I jumped and backed against the door. My guard was all the way up because I didn't recognize where I was and my brain wouldn't work properly to help me out. A hand reached out to me at an alarming pace, my body reacted the only way it knew how to at the moment. I grabbed the hand before it made it to me and bent the fingers all the way back as hard as I could earning a loud girly scream from the guy. "YAH!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?! ITS KAI" He screamed out, finally my brain decided to work and I instantly let his hand go. "I am so so sorry" I groaned while grabbing my hair with both hands and pulling slightly, "I-I didn't realize where I was" I slowly let go of my hair as I looked at him. I felt terrible he was clutching his fingers, his face was twisted in pain "No...its fine" He mumbled out before taking a deep breath. Once he was able to push the pain away he looked at me and smiled "We have arrived at the building you will be staying in, originally you was supposed to go to the SM building but I figure you would want to sleep so I made arrangements" He opened his door and slid out. I followed his actions and headed to the trunk for my luggage only to see that they was already sitting on the curb waiting for me. The tall building was made out of rustic looking bricks "Are these apartments?" I questioned while glancing around the area. There wasn't many other buildings surrounding but if you continue down then restaurants, cafes,  book stores and more began to populate the area. "Um you could call it that" Kai scratched his head before nodding at the door "I'll walk you up" I just nodded and reached for my bags but he took them from me with what I think is a smile behind the mask. I quietly thanked him as we began the journey into the building.

"Woah" My mouth dropped open once we made it inside of the living space. When I first walked in I was met by the kitchen then the living room then when I turned left down a small hallway I was met by the bathroom on the right side but if I pass the bathroom then it lead to the bedroom. "This is way better than the ones that I viewed back home" I muttered coming back in the living room where Kai was standing. "Can you take your mask off? I keep assuming you are smiling because you aren't wearing the glasses but I could be wrong" I chuckled slightly scratching my head. He nodded before pulling the mast off followed by the black hat he had on. Holy.shit. My eyes widen as I was taken back by his appearance, "Is something wrong?" He asked a concerned expression taking over his face making me quickly shake my head. "Uh no everything is perfect...just perfect" I muttered the last part under my breath while secretly checking him out. "Alright well go ahead and rest for a bit I will call you before Wei come to pick you up" I snapped out of checking him over with a confused expression, "Wait I thought you said that I wouldn't have to go today?" He just shook his head "Correct but since you aren't meeting today then tomorrow night you'll have to come to the dinner/celebration I figured you'd want to go shopping and see around for a bit" I don't know if I should feel offended or appreciative that he suggested. For now I'll go with appreciative because I didn't bring anything fancy maybe cute but definitely nothing fancy, "Okay I should probably give you my number" I pulled out my phone suddenly remembering to text my momma and tell her that I made it. Once I texted her and gave Kai my number I slipped the phone back in my pocket. "I guess goodbye for now?" He chuckled and nodded "I'll be calling in about an hour or two get some rest" I walked him out and watched as he disappeared onto the elevator. Although the street isn't very populated many people walked the side walks either with drinks, books or clothing bags in hand. After looking out the balcony for a bit I decided to lay down on the couch and watch a bit of tv, I was surprised to see that the tv had been set in English mode but nonetheless happy so I wouldn't have to watch tv and read the subtitles which I wouldn't have had a problem with anyways but still. "NARUTO!!" I screamed out once the theme song started playing. As I laid there and watched Naruto trying to control his chakra flow my eyes began to flutter "Man this couch is comfy" although it was leather it was pulling me deeper into its embrace. At the moment I had no worries and was still tired since I didn't get to sleep fully in the car. Slowly but surely I began to fall into a peaceful sleep.

"N-No Naruto....mine are better.....Shadow clone jutsu!" Just as I had called to my shadow clones I woke up with a jerk, looking around I spotted my phone on the coffee table in front of me. I was ringing rapidly, once I picked it up there was a number flashing across the screen that I've never seen before. Confusion clear across my face I decided not to answer it. Hoping to go back to sleep I laid the phone back on the table and got back comfy on the couch until the phone 'dinged' signaling I received a text. Sighing angrily I snatched the phone up and almost died, it was Kai. I had multiple missed calls and text from him the most recent one he threatened to bust down the door. Holding my bangs back in a stressed motion I quickly dialed the number back. He picked up on the first ring "Oh my god I was so worried!" There was panic in his voice still although I had answered, "Sorry about that I was really tired" I stood up and slid my black Nike slides on then stretched. A loud groan came out of my mouth making Kai stop mid sentence "Is there someone there with you?" My face flushed slightly and I shook my head although he couldn't see me "Come one dude I just got here but no one is here I was just stretching. Anyways I'll be down soon" I got an hesitant 'okay' before I hung up. Did I really just call him 'dude?' I shook my head before turning the tv off. Being sure to grab my phone and the keys that Kai left on the counter soon I was out the door. While waiting for the elevator  I made a mental note to call home once I got back for the day. My phone was buzzing non stop with questions from my momma. I let out a snort while entering the elevator "wait till you hear about how I let a random stranger get me in his car" I heard a small gasp and looked up from my phone. I was met with a handsome young man with a look of amusement on his face. "Errr I didn't mean it like that.. I was in a way kidnapped but not really.. " I started to trail off because the lobby was coming up and I was making an absolute fool of myself. There was a very long awkward silence. I practically ran out the elevator not daring to look back at him. The door swung open and I happily jumped in "just don't even" I know Kai seen how flustered I was and I wanted to forget the whole thing. Soon enough we were on our way.
