Here I am//Once again//I'm torn into pieces//Can't deny it//Can't pretend//
Just thought you were the one//Broken up deep inside//But you won't get to see the tears I cry//Behind these hazel eyes

Addilyn was furious.
Her bestfriend, Jazmin had taken notice, but chose to ignore it. Instead she took a solo cup and Addilyn watched her bestfriend slowly get drunk. She'd counted, six shots amongst her solo cup collection, before escaping the toxic atmosphere, decidedly taking the elevator to the roof.

The night was cool, few stars shown against the night-sky, though the Moon was full tonight. Sighing Addilyn, dropped to the
surface.

"Peaceful, ain't it?" Addilyn nearly lost her balance and toppled off the
ledge. Once regaining her balance, she looked up, to see who had alarmed herself.

The girl, was familiar,
looking. Long and dark hair, eyes that resembled melted chocolate. Had Addilyn, not already been shocked in the first place, she'd now. She was breathtaking. Realizing she was staring, Addi's cheeks blossomed. If the maddeningly attractive woman noticed she didn't point it out. Instead she offered a pale, freckle dusted hand to her. "I'm Raine Foster.." at the confused expression Addi returned she quickly continued. "My sister and I are the owners..well our Mama and Papa own it technically..anyways..you are?" Addilyn was still trying to return to normal from the nearly falling off a three story house and the girls friendliness, so she failed to give a actual response. "Addi.." was all she uttered, before Raine screamed and tugged Addi into the house. "C'mon, Addi! You'll love my room!" She grinned, dimpling her cheeks. Addilyn had no actual choice, nor did she want to be alone, so she allowed the vibrant and hyper, girl lead her to the intended room.

Raine rolled her eyes, at her
sister.

No booze. Her Mom's words, had went practically unheard, seeing as to how Blake had spent insane amount of cash this evening. The list all of what Mr. and Mrs. Foster, had specifically said 'no' to all was purchased within an hour of them leaving.
Bottles of Vodka, Cptn Morgan, Patrone, Hennessey, Fireball, Jack Daniels, even Smirnoff sat in organized shelves, a good twenty percent of the liquor was opened already.

Unlike Raine, Blake was a partier and drank more than half her weight. Almost annually, her parents would go off on business trips, and Blake would blow easily five hundred dollars on booze, cigarettes, pot and anything that her uptight and old school parents strictly kept away.

Scrunching her nose up at the pungent smell of alcohol and throw up, Raine dodged grabby hands and vile comments on her ass and breast, she found herself in her safe place; although it wasn't really safe. Normally Raine could come out to the roof- now that's an oxymoron of it's own nature! she mused, one wrong footing could send you plummeting fourty-five feet, into the in-ground pool. But it was calming up here, a ledge on the right side was actually secured, better than the rest, as a result of her Papa finding her here one night.

True, he'd thought the worse, and Raine was close to being sent to a mental institute before she
explained. After sitting down, now in his in home office, he agreed on one condition. Of that which you could guess.

This time, Raine didn't have her safe place to herself. A female, about twenty years old, with her back to Raine sat on her ledge. Blonde hair fell to mid back, and a light pink crochet sweater hugged her. Her face was turned uowards, seemingly gazing at the night sky. "Peaceful, ain't it?" She'd meant to say this to herself, but it slipped out. The girl, nearly fell from the ledge. Raine's heartbeat sped up, as she stepped forward to help her, she realized a bit too late that, they girl was staring at her, now a safe distance from the quite lethal drop. Turning her attention back to her intruder, she is on my roof. She reasoned with herself.

"I'm Raine Foster.." she decided to offer, ignoring the girls rosy
cheeks. The girl, still didn't speak up, and Raine decided to name her
Mute.

Mute shuffled her black Converse, and avoided eye contact.
"Addi.." Mite offered. Raine broke into her award winning grin, before doing something so out her nature.

"C'mon! You'll love my room!" Still not quite thinking, Raine dragged Mute, Addi not Mute! attempting to correct the nickname, she hadn't even spoke into existence, Raine stifled a laugh, and led her new companion down to the second floor. Stopping at a door with a fair obtained name board. In artistic theme 'RAINE'. Opening the door, Addilyn was hit with the scent of the salty sea. Posters of beach fronts, seashell decors, real starfish and sand dollars in graved on her simple white headboard. A King size bed made to perfection and of course baby blue, white and navy blue comforter with matching pillows. Sat off to the side of a bay window, and light blue curtains pulled back to a gorgeous night view.

—–——

Addilyn's jaw dropped when she entered Raine's room.

"You love the beach too?" She noted, her eyes roaming the many beach related decorations. Raine smiled, dropping her hand and sitting on her bed.

"Yeah, I'm a beach bum!" Raine commented, falling into her mattress. Addilyn wondered over, and Raine found herself looking up, and Addi gazed back. Unaware of their instant attraction to the other.
