6:00 AM

My phone started ringing making the melodious ringtone of "RABBA VE" reach my ears.

I woke up and had a look at the clock which is indicating it's 6.

I started wondering who's calling at this time.

I took my phone which is displaying "ANJU JAAN calling..."

As soon as I picked the call she started screaming my name in joy "kushiiiiiiii darling .... how are youuuuuu?"

"I'm fine jaan...but what happened to you? Are you fine? Calling me at this hour and asking me if I'm fine!!! Is anything wrong? Or did you get any nightmare? Hey devimaya! Is that about me?",I started my non-stop question bank express.I said all that in one go so now I ended up sighing with panick.

"Uffho kushi you never change!!! Nothing of that sort happened...about which you are bickering...I just called you to ask a favour!!!",she said in pleasing tone.

I sighed and again fell on bed.

"Acha...tell me...I'm at your service... ",I said in a royal way.

"Before saying I want you to promise me that you would definetly do what I'm gonna ask!!!",she exclaimed.

I know she won't be asking to promise if that's not important so I quickly agreed.

"Umm...my brother is coming from our native town...he is too innocent...too pure hearted...too handsome...too lovely...",she's continuously praising that so called brother of hers!!! I rolled my eyes.

"Come on jaan ... I don't have this whole day to listen your bakwas(nonsense) come to the point",I asked in irritated tone.

"I want you to ... vo ... you know na I'm living at ladies hostel and it would be impossible for me to ...",I interrupted her.

"Are you serious jaan? Come on I'm your bestie for God's sake !!! You can't ask like that!!! You know how narrow-minded my parents are...they would kill me if they get to know I gave shelter for a man! that too a young man!!! ", I yelled at her.

"Vo...vo...cool kushi...please dear I understand that it isn't easy for you but please it's only for few days...And about your parents...how will they know? They aren't staying with you na!!! They are miles far away from you that too in a small town...the only way they get info about you is from yourself...please dear I only have hope on you...My brother is too innocent to trust him on anyone...It's first time he's coming to city...and to my badluck I'm on excurtion and it'll take a week to return to city....please darling can't you do this small favour for your jaan?",she asked in pleasing tone for which I sighed.

Yes she's right. My parents won't know but what would society think? A boy staying at a girl's house and that too for a week!!! Hey devimaya what should I do now? I started pondering...Anjali is my best friend...even I'm from a small town...when I was new to city it's because of her help I got habituated to city culture...After I got job I shifted to a new house that is given by company...I asked her to move in but she denied saying she won't be comfortable that way...Now I think it's my chance to return my favour...Hey devimaya...please be my side...First time I'm going to do something that I never thought I would do!!!

"Anju...are you there?",I asked hesitently.

"Yes dear...now if your prayers and thinkings finished can I know what you have decided?",she asked.
