I stand in a worn down elevator, the light flickers and the wallpaper is flaking off and yellowing. Not the best first impression for a new job but considering the state of my apartment, I'm not the person to judge. This job at Wan-Wan (it was beginning to be easier to take that name seriously) was a great opportunity, not exactly “of a life time” but pretty dope none the less.
The elevator dinged and the doors opened to a reception with a bored young woman sitting, well more slouching, behind a desk.
“Can I help you?” the girl uttered,
“Yes” I replied straightening my freshly pressed shirt in an effort to come off as professional “I'm the new intern for Wan-Wan Games."
For a second she looked at me stupidly and then let out a huff as she looked through the A4 folder in front of her.
“Oh yeah, those guys” while it was apparent, her overall dull tone made it hard to pinpoint the drive of the emphasis on the word ‘those’. Still seated the receptionist pointed me to the Wan-Wan office and I thanked her for her help.
“Enjoy the rest of your day” she said systematically in a very heavy ‘customer service' voice, I couldn't blame her its probably something she has to say to every customer I thought.
Walking down a hallway I found the room where I was soon going to start working in, I took a deep breath and quickly admired the blue dog of the company's logo that hung on the door, and slowly opened it.
A/N: Im sooo sorry this chapter is real boring but don't fret the next one shall be better. Mostly because it will have Jooolian.
