Cameron's POV:
It was 8:00 a.m., and we were about to introduce ourselves for the new students. When it was my turn, I mentioned Raymond and Dewey as my best friends. They turned reddish, like a strawberry-like color. All of them laughed because they felt a little shy for the new students. They introduced themselves after. After all of us were introduced, it was recess time (9:00 a.m.), I decided to talk with Dewey about the "bloopers" during the introducing part. Later that time, Raymond emerged from the classroom and saw us talking. When I was about to ask him to join, he suddenly walked out. I wonder why? Dewey talked to him, and asked why.
Dewey's POV:
I think Cameron already explained to you what happened, so I'll cut to the chase. I went to Raymond to ask why did he walked out. He said someone was calling him in the classroom. Maybe it was our new classmate, Louie, or someone else? Meh, who cares? Anyways, after that, he suddenly turned quiet. The teacher asked why he was in THAT stage of quietness. He said he's just worried about his dog wandering in the neighborhood all willy-nilly. But I just remembered: "Raymond doesn't have a dog..."
Raymond's POV:
Yep it's true, but read MY side of the story.
It was recess time, and I have a gift to show Dewey. But right after I went out of the room, I saw he was talking with Cameron... AGAIN! I decided to go back to my seat, and eat my snacks there instead. Ok, I'll admit, I was a little JEALOUS of Dewey and Cameron's connection. Then I thought I was being paranoid about that. After that, the teacher called me why I was so quiet. So, I made up a little white lie about it. I lied that I had a dog that could wander around the neighborhood. I think Dewey and Cameron know that I don't have a dog, or any kind of pet, because my mom doesn't want them in the house. Oh well, back to them.
