*Yeon Hwa POV*
I dress in all black for my father's funeral. Many people come. Only my mother and I stay. My mother bawls and cries, while I stay silent.
He didn't kill him Yeon Hwa. He would never.
I remember those times when I was beaten by my father. I had to choose who I had to believe now. I had to choose who was important to me.
"You're father didn't hate you Yeon Hwa." My mother tells me. She looks like the life is sucked out of her. "He didn't hate you. He might've beaten you. He might've yelled at you for being a child. But really he just hated me." She explains.
"What do you mean mother?" I ask her. She looks at me in my eyes.
"We were bad parents. And I'm sorry. But we really did love you Yeon Hwa. You're father did love you. Please don't resent us for the rest of your life." She says, and she continues to cry. For the first time I think in my whole life. I actually choose her. And I hug her.
I chose her. I chose my family. Not Jungkook. Please forgive me Jungkook, I still love you.
