there they were standing in the background watching everyone else closely. they rubbed their lips and and pushed themselves off the wall, making their way to their target.
"hey mami," they said.
"oh, hi baby," the other responded.
they exchanged smiles as the taller grabbed the victims hand. they gave it a squeeze and walked away.
a few moments later the victim dropped to the floor. the others crowded around her wondering what happened. there was no trace of anything. what happened to them?

it was their turn. they made it through the first time without having to get their hands dirty but they couldn't escape it now.
they spotted their pray and walked up behind them, holding a knife to their side abdomen. as they were about to plunge it in the victim grabbed their hand and turned to face the other.
"you thought." was all the victim said and walked away like nothing happened.
the other stood their wide eyed and shocked. his cover was blown.
