Please Don't Lie To Me

The next day Regina woke up, unable to breath properly and her whole body ached, a great pain over took Regina’s body causing her to scream. Her gut-wrenching scream woke Emma up. Emma knew today was coming but it didn’t make it any easier for the blonde. Regina’s health slowly declined throughout the rest of the day. Early hours of the next morning Regina knew it was her time and with what little strength she had left she woke Emma up. 

Falling back into Emma as Emma cradled her for dear life, Regina’s breathe was shallow, her lungs had collapsed. She wouldn’t be able to breathe for much longer before she suffocated.  

“Emma” 

“shhh Reggie, I've got you. I don’t want you to be scared. I'm here. I'm going to stay with you forever, you’re safe I love you” 

Regina gasped trying to suck in as much air as possible. “Promise me you will take care of our Family”  

Emma gently pressed her lips to Regina’s burning forehead. “We’ll take care of them together.”  

Regina smiled, her lips being painted blue. “please don’t … lie to me …” Regina’s eyes slipped close, with one desperate but vain attempt to gasp, her body went limp.  

“No no no come back to me please I need you” Emma screamed. after watching the pain her love went through Emma swore revenge but for now she would stay with Regina.   

Snow found them still in the bed early the next morning. Her daughter cradled the lifeless body of the brunette in her arms. Emma was staring down at Regina as if by magic she would be alive again, there was no mistaking Emma was grief stricken.   

Snow felt her heart shatter, tears flowing down her cheeks as she shook her head hoping it was a dream. “No” the first sob was quiet almost as if she never did cry. Then the sobs grow louder “NO” she fell to the ground. 

Emma looked up to her mother “Blue did this” she screamed hoping it would help it didn’t  

Snow White's entire body shook as more sobs came. For several moments, nothing was said.
